Before Lee Yoo Bi mesmerized fans with her bubbly character in Kim Go Eun's "Yumi's Cells," the 31-year-old actress had a slew of notable series under her belt.
Debuting in 2011, she joined the cast of the comedy sitcom "Vampire Idol" with lead stars Lee Jung, Lee Soo Hyuk, Bang Min Ah, and more.
With her charisma, beauty, and talent, she continued to land supporting roles and eventually headlined the cast with Park Shin Hye, Lee Jong Suk, and Kim Young Kwang for the K-drama "Pinocchio."
After years of being in the industry, she proved that she could do main roles, even the antagonist part. Lee Yoo Bi's new drama is the much-awaited sequel, "Yumi's Cells" season 2, which will premiere on June 10.
She will reprise her role as the bubbly officemate of Kim Yumi. The 31-year-old definitely entertained the viewers with her character's hilarious and very positive personality, especially how she's around with SHINee's Minho, who plays the office crush, Chae Woo Ki, in season 1.
Surprisingly, apart from her stellar performance in "Yumi's Cells," which gained praise from viewers, Lee Yoo Bi also made headlines after being romantically involved with a Kpop superstar.
Did Lee Yoo Bi Date BTS' Jungkook?
In December 2021, right after the holidays, a YouTube video spread like wildfire on social media after the actress reportedly posted a "lovestagram" hinting that she is dating BTS' Jungkook.
Lee Yoo Bi, who is known as a fan of the K-pop superstar, posted purple heart emojis, the color symbolizing BTS.
In addition, the actress and Jongkook even wore matching bracelets and clothes and once described the 31-year-old beauty as his ideal type.

To add fuel to the fire, the outlet also obtained that the video claimed that the duo reportedly started dating in 2018, sending fans into a major frenzy.
The actress' agency immediately addressed the rumors and strongly denied that Lee Yoo Bi and Jungkook were dating.

As noted by a different outlet, Y-Bloom Entertainment clarified the issue, saying, "That's a groundless [rumor]. Lee Yoo Bi and Jungkook's dating news make no sense."
Moreover, the talent management also pointed out that "they've never met, and they don't know each other," adding "among the BTS members, Lee Yoo Bi knew Suga, but that was a long time ago. We don't even know if they're in touch right now."
The same goes for BTS Jungkook's agency, Big Hit Music, as they shared the same stance saying that the dating rumors are "groundless," pointing out that the K-pop star is not dating Lee Yoo Bi.
In addition, the label also warned that they would be taking legal action against netizens who share malicious posts or false facts about BTS.
