While Kim Sae Ron's DUI incident continues to make it to the headlines, the actress reportedly paid the damages to public property brought by the car accident.
After releasing her handwritten apology statement, "The Great Shaman Ga Doo Shim" star is taking full responsibility for ramming the electric outpost on the day of the incident.
Kim Sae Ron Pays 20 Million KRW for Damaging Public Property
As noted by a media outlet, Korea Electric Power Corporation (Kepco) shared that Kim Sae Ron has paid 20 million KRW or around 15,817 USD to replace the damaged electric transformer box.
A representative from the company stated that it had to replace the whole unit after the actress' SUV car hit the transformer.
In addition, Kim Sae Ron was the first to reach out to make amends and pay the damage.

To recall, on the morning of May 18, police authorities received several calls noting that a car was "driving unsteadily" and caused an accident in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam.
Kim Sae Ron's car hit the roadside and rammed the electric transformer box. Unfortunately, even the protective barrier got destroyed due to the incident. The accident also caused major traffic and power outages within the vicinity.
Was Kim Sae Ron Drunk During the Incident?
After the police came to the scene, Kim Sae Ron reportedly asked to be transferred to the hospital to have her blood test taken to check the level of alcohol in her body.
However, the police, as obtained by an outlet, noted that the actress "was so drunk that she couldn't even speak properly." With this, she is booked for driving under the influence of alcohol (DUI.)
As her agency and authorities waited for the result of the tests, Kim Sae Ron released a handwritten apology expressing her regret for the incident.
The 21-year-old actress took to social media and began by admitting her mistake.
She said that her "wrong judgment and behavior" resulted in "inconvenience to so many people, including merchants in nearby shops, citizens, and those who work to restore [the damage]."
Moreover, she is also assured to fix the damages and will do her "best to actively communicate and resolve this until the end."
The incident also prompted Kim Sae Ron to drop out from her upcoming K-drama with SBS.
The former child star is among the lead stars of the mystery melodrama "Trolley" alongside Kim Hyun Joo, Park Hee Soon, Ki Tae Young, Kim Mu Yeol and Ryu Hyun Kyung.
However, despite the incident, Kim Sae Ron remained the main cast of Netflix's "Bloodhounds" with Woo Do Hwan.
