Through the years, there have been a slew of stars who have risked their own lives as well as the lives of others by getting behind the wheel while intoxicated.
Here's a rundown of K-drama actors and actresses who have been booked for DUI.
Kim Sae Ron
The 21-year-old actress is a recent Korean celebrity who is facing DUI charges after her SUV rammed public properties in Gangnam, Seoul, last May 18.
Kim Sae Ron's car accident caused heavy traffic and a power outage after her car collided a transformer box.
Based on reports, "The Great Shaman Ga Doo Shim" star is waiting for her blood test as police continue with their investigation.

At the height of Kim Sae Ron's DUI issue, her agency, Gold Medalist, released a statement apologizing for the actress' action.
Moreover, she also apologized for causing inconvenience to the motorist and promised to help restore the damages.
Following the incident, Herald Pop reported that the actress is withdrawing from her upcoming K-drama "Trolley," where she plays the main character.
As noted by the production team Studio S, "Kim Sae Ron's agency announced her intention to leave with an apology and accepted it."
Son Seung Won
In 2018, Son Seung Won made it to the headlines after being caught driving under the influence of alcohol and injuring two people.
Reports at the time mentioned that Seoul Gangnam Police said that the actor tried to flee after colliding with another car with two passengers inside.
Fortunately, a taxi driver stopped his car and was caught by the authorities.
Based on his test, his blood-alcohol level was 0.206 percent, which exceeds the legal limit of 0.05 percent.
Due to this, he received a sentence for violating the Road Traffic Act by driving drunk and without a license and dangerous driving under the Additional Punishment Law on Specific Crimes.
Kim Hyun Joong
Known for his role in "Boys Over Flowers," Kim Hyun Joong's license was suspended after being involved in a DUI incident.
In 2017, Channel A reported that the actor passed out due to intoxication. At the time, his car wasn't moving but in the middle of the street.
Reports noted that his blood-alcohol level was 0.075 percent, which is an automatic subject for license suspension.
Park Si Yeon
Beauty queen turned actress Park Si Yeon was also embroiled in a car accident back in 2021.
She was charged with driving under the influence after hitting a car near the intersection.
At the time, police mentioned that her blood alcohol content level was 0.097 percent, causing her driver's license to be revoked.
