Kim Ji Won has finally ended her almost two years partnership with SALT Entertainment. 

SALT Entertainment Part Ways With Actress Kim Ji Won

Following her successful small screen comeback with "My Liberation Notes," Kim Ji Won shocked many when SALT Entertainment, which is now her former agency, made an announcement in the public, involving the actress.

On June 10, "The Heirs" star parted ways with the said company, after she ended her exclusive contract with them. On the same day, SALT Entertainment released a special statement confirming the actress' departure in their family. 

According to the entertainment agency, they have decided to support one another in their respective places. They also thanked Kim Ji Won for being a good colleague who showed sincerity at work through a variety of projects. SALT Ent. will continue to cheer on the female star on her future projects. And before they conclude their statement, they are also grateful to all the fans who displayed their support to the actress.

Kim Ji Won started her career with SALT Ent. in 2020, actors Kim Seon Ho, Park Shin Hye, Park Hee Soon, Kim Ju Hun, and more are also under the same agency. 

What's Next for Kim Ji Won?

As of now, there is no news yet of where Kim Ji Won will transfer next after she parted ways with the former agency. Meanwhile, the actress just made an Instagram update where she attended one of the public events of the famous brands Adidas X Gucci.

After she starred in JTBC's "My Liberation Notes," the 29-year-old female star has no confirmed projects yet. 

Will Kim Ji Won Return to Fantasy Drama 'Arthdal Chronicles 2'?

Meanwhile, in April of this year, various media outlets reported that there will be a "Arthdal Chronicles" Season 2. However, not all are happy with the announcement as the lead cast members are said to be new. For the reason that its original cast, particularly, Song Joong Ki might not be able to return in the new sequel due to his jam-packed schedule.

Furthermore, Kim Ji Won has also not speak about the "Arthdal Chronicles 2" yet for it could possibly change its main cast members. Based on the previous reports, actress Shin Se Kyung and "Again My Life" actor were the first pair to be chosen to play the lead roles of the forthcoming second installment.

The series is expected to start production once the cast is already finalized. "Arthdal Chronicles 2" is about to premiere sometime in 2023.
