Is It True? EXO's Suho To Join Han Ji Min in New K-Drama 'Hip'
Following the release of his second EP "Grey Suit" in April, Suho (leader of the K-pop boy group EXO) made headlines on September 13 after it was announced that he might be returning to acting soon!
According to a media outlet, Suho is courted to star in the forthcoming JTBC drama "Hip" (working title), where he is expected to work with "Our Blues" actress Han Ji Min and "My Liberation Notes" actor Lee Min Ki.

This will be a reunion project for the two actors, the director, and the writer, who already worked with different projects before, respectively.
The series will be helmed by director Kim Seok Yoon and "The Light in Your Eyes" writer Lee Nam Gyu will pen the script.
"Hip" follows the story of events that unfold and people living in the countryside.
If Suho accepts the offer, it will mark his long-awaited comeback drama after four years of hiatus. Once the cast is already complete, the production will immediately proceed with the script reading and start filming the series. The production aims to release "Hip" in the first half of 2023.
EXO Suho's Previous Dramas
Idol-actor Suho just finished his military service last February 14. Months after his return, the EXO member/musical actor met fans again with his new album.
This time, he might be gearing up for another acting experience with his possible drama "Hip."

But before SM Entertainment released a statement confirming the South Korean star's participation in the series, Suho had already wowed viewers with his performance in his previous dramas.
Suho appeared in the K-series "To The Beautiful You" in 2012 along with other EXO members. In 2014 he made a cameo in KBS' "Prime Minister & I."
In the following years, he played the role of Han Do Woo in the drama "How Are You Bread" and Woo Joo in MBC's "The Universe's Star."

His latest K-drama was "Rich Man," which aired in 2018.
Suho is the third EXO member who might have an active engagement in acting soon. His co-members Sehun and Doh Kyungsoo are already confirmed to have new acting projects.
