Kang Tae Oh made headlines after photos during his military service circulated online. The 28-year-old star is among the celebrities who joined the mandatory enlistment this 2022.

Kang Tae Oh's Military Photos Sparks Online Frenzy

Looking fit and fab, the "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" star was all smiles as he posed for the camera together with his fellow trainees.

Kang Tae Oh was spotted wearing a complete uniform, sitting in front in an Indian seat position, joined by his colleagues.

On the other hand, what stood out the most in the photo besides the actor's effortless visual is his name tag which reads Kim Yoon Hwan, which is his real name.

Interestingly, the photo was taken at the recruit training center, where Kang Tae Oh is currently undergoing his basic military drills.

In addition, this is also Kang Tae Oh's third week in the military after officially enlisting in the army on September 20 as an active-duty soldier.

With a new update regarding Kang Tae Oh's military service, fans flocked to social media as they gushed over the actor's photo wearing the uniform.

While some wish him good luck on his journey, others expressed how they can't wait to see him acting on screen.

It can be recalled that the actor officially announced the date of his enlistment during his online fan meeting "TikTok Stage Connect: SweeTaeOh" back in August.

At the time, he expressed his deep gratitude to fans and thanked them for "making such good memories" and promised to "return with a healthy mindset."

Ahead of his enlistment, Kang Tae Oh posted an update on his Instagram showing his new buzz-cut hairstyle.

Moreover, he took this as an opportunity to bid farewell to his fans as he goes on a hiatus in showbusiness.

"I thank everyone for their support and abundant love. I will return bravely. See you soon," Kang Tae Oh's Instagram caption reads.

As the actor officially embarked on his duties, fans were saddened as Kang Tae Oh took his time off in the industry to fulfill his responsibilities.

Others noted that he is recently making a name for himself after landing the role in the hit ENA K-drama "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" along with Park Eun Bin and Kang Ki Young.

However, fans expect that the actor will be back as a civilian with Kang Tae Oh's official discharge date being in March 2024.

Interestingly, this will be in time for "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" season 2, expected to air in the same year.

Will Kang Tae Oh Return in 'Extraordinary Attorney Woo 2'?

After "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" season 2 gets a green light, the production company behind the series A-Story revealed that among its plans is to retain most of the original cast members, along with the show's key creative personnel.

However, as reports noted, they have to navigate the cast's busy schedules before starting with the production.
