The "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" star shared a series of photos during their mini get-together with his co-stars.

In Kang Tae Oh's Instagram, he posted candid photos featuring the "Run On" cast along with a blackboard containing sweet messages wishing him luck on his enlistment.

Moreover, the actor also posted random shots taken by the Girls' Generation members. 

Over the comment section, fans expressed how they miss the "Run On" cast as some are even hoping for the drama's season 2. 

It can be recalled that Kang Tae Oh took the role of university art major Lee Young Hwa in 2020 hit K-drama and was Choi Sooyoung's on-screen boyfriend.

The 28-year-old South Korean heartthrob is among the celebrities who are set to join the military enlistment this 2022. 

At the height of his K-drama " "Extraordinary Attorney Woo," his agency, Man of Creation, announced plans for Kang Tae Oh's enlistment. 

As obtained by Ten Asia, the talent label confirmed that the breakout star "enlist to complete his military service" however, back in July, "draft notice has not been issued yet."

As for his possible department, the agency said that the actor wanted to become part of The Republic of Korea Navy or Marines, but is also looking into joining The Republic of Korea Army.

"Kang Tae Oh has a masculine personality, and he loves to work out. So he wanted to complete his military service as part of the ROKN UDT or the ROK Marines. But it is more likely that he'll be a part of the ROK Army," the agency said, as noted by the outlet.

As for the actor, Kang Tae Oh shared his thoughts regarding his upcoming enlistment during his appearance with Elle Korea. 

He said he feels more "reassured than disappointed for the coming enlistment. 

In addition, the 28-year-old star shared that "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" became a big part of his year and because of it, he is "glad" that he "can confidently say 'I'll be back safely."

One of the underrated South Korean actors, Kang Tae Oh starred in "Forever Young 2," "My First First Love," "The Tale of Nokdu" and "Run On" where he gained the public's attention playing the second male lead. 

However, it was the hit ENA K-drama "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" that skyrocketed his popularity, not just in South Korea as the drama series reached global fame. 

Before joining the series, Kang Tae Oh is among the members of the first-ever South Korean actor group, ​​5urprise which includes Gong Myung, Seo Kang Joon, Yoo Il, and Lee Tae Hwan but got disbanded in March 2020 after five members decided to part ways with the company.
