RAIN’s Agency Shows ‘No Mercy’ Against Those Who Spread False Facts Regarding Rumored Affair With Pro Golfer

RAIN's agency released an update regarding their action towards the cheating allegations of the actor.

Kim Tae Hee's husband is a celebrity who got involved in a controversy after a magazine publication hints at his alleged affair with a professional golfer.

Following this, the public speculates that the mystery actor is none other than the singer-actor.

RAIN's Cheating Rumor: Agency to Sue Those Who Spread False Rumors Against the Actor

After making it to the headlines, RAIN Company released a statement citing that they have completed the first complaint and sued those who reported damaging claims and rumors about the actor.

As obtained by a media outlet, the talent label revealed that the police have begun investigating YouTubers and writers" who spread false facts or rumors about their artists in each community, cafe, and SNS (social networking service) of portal sites."

In addition, RAIN's agency wants to inform the public that they will continue with the "second and third investigation requests for YouTubers and creators" who released "false facts, slander, and insulting remarks using artist-related rumors."

Moreover, the label also pointed out that they will show "no mercy" on the subject matter.

RAIN and Jo Jung Suk's Involvement With Cheating Allegations

It can be recalled that the "Ghost Doctor" star, who is currently married to Hallyu queen Kim Tae Hee, was rumored to be having an affair with a famous golfer. It was after a magazine reported that a top star is cheating on his wife.

RAIN's side immediately shut down rumors and also announced plans to take legal action.

In a statement, the label said that they are "aware of rumors and allegations circulating" about their artist but initially planned not to address the controversy as it "was not necessary as it was groundless false information not worthy of any response."

However, after social media and various outlets pointed out RAIN's name, the agency felt like they needed to clarify rumors to protect the artist and his family.

As for RAIN's wife, Kim Tae Hee reportedly brushed off the rumors as she finds it "ridiculous."

Apart from RAIN, another celebrity who is rumored to be having an affair with the alleged golfer is "Hospital Playlist" star Jo Jung Suk.

The 41-year-old star is married to singer Gummy, who welcomed their first child in August 2020.

What's Next For RAIN?

While his agency takes actions against malicious commenters, RAIN is reportedly making a surprise appearance in tvN's historical K-drama "Under the Queen's Umbrella."

He will join lead Kim Hye Soo, who transformed into a Joseon Queen, along with Kim Hae Sook, Choi Won Young, SF9's Chani, Moon Sang Min, and more.

While "Under the Queen's Umbrella" is RAIN's first historical K-drama appearance, his role is yet to be announced.
