With their extreme popularity and being a public figures, Korean celebrities can't escape the prying eyes of the media and due to this, some of them were embroiled in cheating rumors.

There were those who got embroiled in infidelity rumors, while some were proven baseless.

From RAIN to Jo Jung Suk and more, here's a rundown of Korean celebrities who got involved in cheating controversies.  

RAIN

The once quiet married life of RAIN and Kim Tae Hee was tainted with a scandalous accusation after a magazine revealed hints saying that a top actor who is described as a "family man" was speculated to be having an affair with a female professional golfer.

It was after the clues point to his wife, Kim Tae Hee, who was described as "intelligent and incredibly beautiful."

As for the alleged mistress, the golfer reportedly "has a cute personality with a sexy appearance" and happens to be someone that the top star met in competition.

Following the controversy, his agency, RAIN COMPANY released a statement dismissing the rumors.

The same goes for the rumored professional golfer, Park Gyeol, who took to Instagram and shut down the controversy involving her with RAIN.

Jo Jung Suk

Another actor involved with the same allegation is Jo Jung Suk, who was also speculated to be cheating his wife, singer Gummy, with a pro golfer.

While his agency, JAM Entertainment, pointed out that their artist is not the actor behind the rumored family man cheating with his wife, the label also warned the public about phishing scams impersonating Jo Jung Suk on social media.

As obtained by Xports News, the management also clarified that the "Hospital Playlist" star " does not use any personal social media accounts, and he does not contact people through comments or DMs."

Jo Jung Suk married the OST queen Gummy in July 2018 and released their dreamy wedding photos.

It comes after the couple confirmed their relationship through their agency in February 2015.

Kim Min Gwi

At the height of his rising popularity, thanks to the webtoon-based K-drama "Nevertheless" starring Song Kang and Han So Hee, Kim Min Gwi was accused by his ex-girlfriend of cheating while in a relationship with her.

A scathing post circulated online exposing an actor's infidelity and breaking quarantine guidelines was then identified as the 27-year-old actor.

In a post, his ex-girlfriend, whom he dated for six long years accused him of having one-night stands, cheated on her with multiple other women, and had gone to nightclubs while on quarantine.

In a report, Kim Min Gwi's agency, Big Picture Entertainment, released an official statement, noting that the actor "acknowledges that he has done wrong in the parts regarding his personal life."

Due to this, his screen time in "Nevertheless" was reduced; however, he returned to Netflix's "Narco-Saints" as one of the pastor's men.

PD Na Young Seok

TV producer and director Na Young Seok got also involved in a controversy accusing him of having an affair with actress Jung Yumi.

She appeared in tvN's entertainment program "Youn's Kitchen" which was also directed by PD Na.

As the rumors spread online, he immediately released a statement saying that the rumors are false and warned malicious commenters to be legally responsible.
