‘Golden Spoon’ Episode 11: Lee Jong Won Learns About the Existence of Golden Spoon

In "Golden Spoon" episode 11, Hwang Tae Yong (Lee Jong Won) meets an old lady selling gold spoons and desperately wants to try his luck to change his fate. 

Hwang Tae Yong Confronts Lee Seung Cheon About the 'Golden Spoon'

Hwang Tae Yong, who was investigating the death of Chairman Na (Son Jong Hak), was contacted by the Doshin Group and faced Hwang Hyun Do (Choi Won Young). Tae Yong, who asked why Lee Seung Cheon (Yook Sungjae) went to the U.S 10 years ago, agreed with Hyun Do's answer that 'big fish should play in big water,' but couldn't hide his bitter expression. 

In response, Hwang Hyun Do suggested that he could climb to the highest point if he entered the Doshin Group, and Tae Yong began to imagine himself receiving people's envious eyes.

After his encounter with Hyun Do, Tae Yong questioned the existence of the golden spoon, and hurriedly visited Lee Seung Cheon, thinking that the graffiti on the practice book might be real. He then asked Seung Cheon if he ever heard of the golden spoon. To his surprise, Oh Yeo Jin (Yeon Woo) appeared and defended Seung Cheon.

Meanwhile, Lee Seung Cheon returned to a realization after meeting Hwang Tae Yong. He was blaming himself for spacing out. He also got worried knowing that Tae Yong already has an idea about the existence of the golden spoon. 

Hwang Tae Yong Meets The Mysterious Lady Selling the Gold Spoon

On a random day, Hwang Tae Yong crossed paths with a mysterious lady selling various antique products.

He was surprised to learn the story about the golden spoon from the mysterious grandmother (Song Ok Sook), which was only written in a book before. The old lady handed Hwang Tae Yong a gold spoon and gave him a blunt but meaningful smile.

Tae Yong was tempted to try the magic of the golden spoon and was on the verge of returning to his original life. However, knowing the consequences that might happen, the young man wanted to spend more time thinking of what he should do with the mysterious spoon he acquired from the old lady.
