SBS is gearing up for its upcoming Wednesday–Thursday romance drama "Sold Out on You," with actor Ahn Hyo-seop attending the production presentation in Seoul on April 15 alongside fellow cast members.

The series centers on a rural romance between perfectionist farmer Matthew Lee and home shopping host Dam Ye-jin, whose contrasting lives become unexpectedly intertwined through work and daily encounters.
According to additional reporting from Daum, the drama emphasizes a "healing romance" tone, with Ahn Hyo-seop noting that the script offered him emotional relief after previous intense acting projects and allowed him to focus on a more grounded character journey.
The actor share his reflection on the project, He said, "After doing serious, emotionally draining projects and struggling with life's direction, this work gave me a lot of healing."
Ahn, who has previously starred in "Dr. Romantic" and "Business Proposal," also spoke about adapting to the rural filming environment and taking on hands-on preparation for his role as a farmer.

He also shares his on-set preparation. He said, "I learned to drive a tractor, which I practiced hard for because I had to carry seniors. It felt like a car to me—a 911 or an Urus."
The actor also humorously addressed his recent global popularity following the Netflix series "KPop Demon Hunters." In coverage by The Chosun Daily, he joked about his transition between projects and his character's fate in the series.
Ahn also added a comment about the role. He said, "I never left the Saja Boys. I just died," drawing laughter from the audience.
Despite his rising international recognition, Ahn emphasized that his focus remains on his current project and the new character he is portraying in "Sold Out on You."
He said, "I'm grateful for the love for my career so far. I'm truly focused only on 'Sold Out on You'. If this path helps, I'm thankful."
The press event also highlighted the drama's strong ensemble and rising expectations for its rural romance concept, which combines modern entertainment industry themes with countryside storytelling.
