Lee Jung Jae spoke about his upcoming activities including his Hollywood debut in a "Star Wars" series. The "Squid Game" star is the latest South Korean celebrity who is slated to have their first international appearance as K-wave continues to gain interest from global viewers.

During his appearance at the London East Asia Film Festival in 2022 for his film "Hunt," the award-winning actor shared his thoughts about his international debut, joining big names in Hollywood.

In a report obtained by SBS Star, the award-winning actor kept tight-lipped about his first international project but hints that details will be revealed soon. 

Moreover, Lee Jung Jae also shared that he signed an NDA or non-disclosure agreement; hence why can't say anything about his upcoming project? 

"I feel like they will ask me not to say anything about the movie even after I finish filming everything though," he added. 

Apart from the forthcoming series being his Hollywood debut, Lee Jung Jae also called it his "biggest project ever" and the reason he understands the confidentiality of the matter and why he sticks to what they're telling the actor. 

In an exclusive report of Deadline back in September, the 49-year-old actor has landed a major role in the upcoming Disney+ "Star Wars" series "The Acolyte."

Under Lucasfilm, Lee Jung Jae will be joined by Amandla Steinberg and Jodie Turner-Smith who will also portray major roles. 

"Star Wars: The Acolyte: will also feature Leslye Headland as the series director, writer, exec producer, and showrunner. 

Interestingly, the upcoming tv series will illustrate a "galaxy of shadowy secrets and emerging Dark Side powers in the final days of the High Republic era."

There's no denying that Lee Jung Jae is one of the most popular South Korean stars who is also recognized worldwide. 

After landing the role of player 456 Seong Gi Hoon in "Squid Games" viewers from all over the world knew the celebrity is. 

During his appearance at London East Asia Film Festival 2022 the actor spoke about the difference between the response he got before and after the Netflix series aired. 

"I'm much more recognized this time compared to the last time I was in London. Everyone is talking to me about 'Squid Game'" he said. 

Interestingly, to communicate better with his global fans, Lee Jung Hae said that he is improving his English skills, this is not only for fans but also for his upcoming Hollywood project.
