So Ji Sub's Movie 'Confession' Invited to Paris Korean Film Festival

According to a news outlet on November 3, So Ji Sub's newly released movie "Confession" was invited to the Even-Mang section of the 17th Paris Korean Film Festival last October 26 and 30, filling the audience with both the second screening.

The annual film festival is held every October in Paris, France. The Even-Mang section introduces Korea's top-notch world of the year.

Chief Programmer, David Treadler said in his latest interview, "If you like investigative materials, 'Confession' is a must-see film."

He continued, "Regardless of whether they watched the original movie or not, I am happy that many people are satisfied with the movie."

Also, according to him, So Ji Sub's "Confession" is more meaningful because it was screened in France at the same time that it was released in Korea.

"Confession" is a story that takes place when promising businessman Yoo Min Ho (played by So Ji Sub), who was identified as a suspect in a murder case, and Yang Shin Ae (played by Kim Yoon Jin), a lawyer with a 100% winning rate and will help Min Ho to prove his innocence.

Since it premiered on October 26, "Confession" has topped the box office for seven consecutive days already, outshining the revenge movie "Remember" starring Nam Joo Hyuk.

So Ji Sub Admits Having Nightmare While Filming His Comeback Movie 'Confession'

In the movie, the actor transformed into a CEO of an IT company. He got embroiled in a case after he became a prime suspect regarding the death of Kim See Hee (played by Nana), his mistress.

In one of his recent interviews, So Ji Sub shared his honest thoughts and experiences in working on the thriller film. He accepted the project because he was captivated by its storyline, and he was also curious about how the story will conclude.

However, since he had to immerse himself in his character, he ended up experiencing nightmares.

According to the actor, "When I was sleeping, I suffered from nightmares of beating someone or chasing after me." He added that the strange dreams stopped when the filming was finally over.
