Following her DUI controversy last May, Kim Sae Ron gets dragged into yet another controversy after seeing an e-cigarette on her SNS post.

Kim Sae Ron Using E-Cigarette?

On November 2, Kim Sae Ron headlined multiple media reports for her recent social media post. The actress made an Instagram update for the first time since she took a career hiatus for DUI Controversy.

She is receiving backlash for an alleged e-cigarette placed at the top of the sketch photo she posted.

Based on News Nate, an electronic cigarette was found on top of her drawing pad, which immediately caused commotion online among the public as Kim Sae Ron is currently in a period of self-reflection after apologizing for drunk driving last May.

Just a few moments after she posted the photo, the "Secret Healer" star quickly deleted the post, but eagle-eyed people immediately shared the picture, which circulated in different online communities.

There's also no confirmed statement whether the cigarette found is used by the star.

Kim Sae Ron and her agency are yet to release a statement regarding the actress' controversial post.

Kim Sae Ron Loses Acting Projects After Her DUI Controversy

It can be recalled that Kim Sae Ron violated the Road Traffic Act in May and was caught drunk driving.

In the statement released by her agency Gold Medalist Entertainment, the actress had a blood alcohol content of approximately 0.2 percent at the time of the incident.

Since it became a hot topic and the actress' name online, Kim Sae Ron lost her project deals. She was supposed to make her screen comeback with Netflix's "Hunting Dogs," but because of the controversy, she was replaced by rising star Jung Da Eun.

Apart from the Netflix series, Sae Ron also stepped down from SBS' soon-to-release drama, "Trolley" and her spot was given to up-and-coming actress Jung Soo Bin.

Kim Sae Ron was also expected to make a cameo in the previous Disney+ drama "Kiss Sixth Sense" starring Seo Ji Hye and Yoon Kye Sang, but some of her screen appearances got edited out since her DUI controversy sparked.

The former child star was confirmed to lead the webcomic-based film "Everyday We Are," alongside Lee Chae Min, Ryoo Ui Hyun, and Yuju, however, it got postponed due to her previous issue.

Her latest drama was with Kim Da Reum in the campus-horror series "The Great Shaman Ga Doo Shim," which aired in 2021.
