Kim Soo Hyun Offered To Star in Park Ji Eun's New Drama 'Queen of Tears'

Two brilliant artists will potentially team up for another exciting masterpiece.

On November 4, according to My Daily News, Kim Soo Hyun is being courted to headline the new series "Queen of Tears."

To recall, in April of this year, the award-winning actor was rumored to reunite with writer Park Ji Eun, the mind behind the hit dramas "My Love From the Star" and "Producer," in which Kim Soo Hyun both headlined.

However, during that time, the actor's agency said that he had not yet received an official offer about the project.

After almost six months, Gold Medalist Entertainment officially announced that Kim Soo Hyun received a formal offer to play the main protagonist in "Queen of Tears" and he is currently discussing the project with the team.

Park Ji Eun & Kim Soo Hyun To Work For the Third Time Since 'My Love From the Star'

The possible character of Soo Hyun was not yet disclosed to the public. If the "It's Okay Not To Be Okay" actor accepts the casting offer, "Queen of Tears" marks his third time working with scriptwriter Park Ji Eun.

The two began working together in 2013 and have known each other for almost a decade now.

Other actors and actresses who are joining the ensembles are also yet to be introduced. This series might also be Kim Soo Hyun's comeback drama following "One Ordinary Day" in 2021 where he worked with veteran actor Cha Seung Won.
