Korean Actors Who Receive Marriage Proposal

Fans usually expressed their support for their beloved Korean actors and actresses by attending their fan meetings or just by simply watching their dramas and films; however, these stars experienced a unique way of being welcomed by supporters.

Hyun Bin, Jung Woo Sung, and even Gong Yoo have received marriage proposals from fans who took the plunge and asked them the big question.

Interestingly, these A-listers knew how to respond in the most endearing way.

Jung Woo Sung

The award-winning actor has been doing promotional activities for his comeback movie "Hunt" directed and co-starred by his good friend Lee Jung Jae.

In one of their activities, Jung Woo Sung met her enthusiastic fans who not only brought him gifts but also made a public proposal.

The news comes after his agency, Artist Company, revealed a video showing the situation titled "Actor Jung Woo Sung announces a special notice. Everyone, you can't propose."

In a report cited by a media outlet, the actor left a hilarious warning to his fans begging them not to do proposals anymore.

"I was proposed to again. Everyone, you can't propose. You are at a loss," he said as he waved his hand and smiled at the crowd.

Moreover, the actor joked as he described it as "forbidden love."

Interestingly, this is not the first time that the actor has received a marriage proposal from a fan.

In 2016, while promoting his movie "Don't Forget Me," a fan boldly asked the actor, "I want to marry Jung Woo-sung. What is your ideal type?."

Jung Woo Sung, being a gentleman, politely refused the girl.

"When the 'Hapjeong-dong middle school student' is old enough to get married, there will be a cooler and more suitable half-hearted man," he said, referring to the fan as "Hapjeong-dong middle school student."

Hyun Bin

Being one of the most beloved and not to mention hottest K-drama actors, Hyun Bin also experienced the same fate as Jung Woo Sung.

During his promotional activities for his big screen comeback "Confidential Assignment 2," the actor noticed a placard in the audience, causing him to burst into laughter.

A hilarious yet heartfelt message immediately drew Hyun Bin's attention after reading a phrase that says "My father is 41 years old. Dad, I'm sorry. I like Hyun Bin."

Aside from the top star, even his co-star laughed at the hilarious message as the fan confessed her true feelings.

Gong Yoo

While Jung Woo Sung and Hyun Bin had a similar experience, Gong Yoo had a different but remarkable one.

In 2016, the "Train to Busan" star appeared in KBS2's "Entertainment Weekly" for their guerilla date segment.

Gong Yoo was swarmed by eager fans who wanted to see the actor.

Interestingly, a fan joked by saying, "When you announce your marriage plans, please announce it in the fan cafe first" to which he said he'll do it later.

However, a fan seemed taken aback by Gong Yoo's reply and said "But my heart's not ready for it yet!"

Gong Yoo made the fans laugh after the actor said that he is "not ready for [marriage] yet either."
