Jung Woo Sung’s K-drama Comeback Will Be With THIS ‘Hospital Playlist’ Actress
After 10 years, Jung Woo Sung will return to the small screen with a new K-drama together with Shin Hyun Bin.
The renowned South Korean actor and the 36-year-old actress have confirmed to headline a healing melodrama.
Jung Woo Sung Teams Up with Shin Hyun Bin in New Drama 'Tell Me You Love Me'
Penned by "School 2015," "Love in the Moonlight" and "The Sound of Magic" screenwriter Kim Min Jung, Jung Woo Sung, and Shin Hyun Bin's new drama is directed by Kim Yoon Jin of "Our Beloved Summer."
"Tell Me You Love Me" depicts the story of a deaf man Cha Jin Woo, played by Jung Woo Sung, who uses pictures instead of words to express emotions.
Meanwhile, he crosses paths with a woman named Jeong Mo Eun, portrayed by Shin Hyun Bin, who expresses her feelings through her voice.
The upcoming series is based on the classic melodrama of the same name, which aired on TBS in Japan in 1995.

At the time, it was a hit tv series, scoring multiple awards at the Japan TV Drama Academy Award for Best Picture, Best Screenplay, Best Actor, and Best Actress.
Apart from the renowned screenwriter and director of the new drama, "Tell Me You Love Me" will be produced under Artist Studio.

In a report cited by a local media outlet, they are planning to start production at the end of 2022.
"After finishing casting for supporting roles with Artist Studio, we plan to start filming in earnest from the end of this year," the company said, adding that they are "discussing the formation on various channels and platforms" where they can air the K-drama.
In the forthcoming melodrama, viewers will get to see the fresh team-up between Jung Woo Sung and Shin Hyun Bin as well as their on-screen chemistry.
Jung Woo Sung's Comeback K-drama to Upcoming Projects
"Tell Me You Love Me" is Jung Woo Sung's return to K-dramaland after 10 years since he headlined the 2011 K-drama "Padam Padam" with Han Ji Min and Kim Bum.
Although he appeared in "Delayed Justice" and "The Silent Sea" where he also served as the executive producer, the romance life K-drama was his last lead role on the small screen.
Interestingly, besides the blockbuster espionage action film "Hunt" with good friend Lee Jung Jae, and his comeback K-drama with Shin Hyun Bin, Jung Woo Sung is set to air the movie he directed starring himself, Kim Nam Gil, and Park Sung Won for "A Man of Reason."
In addition, he will also direct a historical movie "Agent Scholar."
