From "Alchemy of Souls" to "Little Women" to "The Law Cafe" and more, the South Korean media certainly has a wide array of K-Dramas to choose from.

However, many of which also didn't make it to the cut due to its mediocre storyline, lackluster cast performance and significantly low scores. Here are the dramas that flopped in the second half of 2022.

Han Ji Hyun's 'Cheer Up'

Prior to its premiere, "Cheer Up" drew a lot of attention especially to young adult viewers. However, the drama failed to achieve high scores during its broadcast despite the refreshing storyline about cheerleaders.

The ratings barely reach 3% every week and not even the love triangle between Han Ji Hyun, Bae In Hyuk and Kim Hyun Jin could amplify the excitement.

In spite of its international buzz, the drama still holds no candle compared to other coming of age dramas in the second half of 2022.

Choi Siwon's 'Love Is For Suckers'

With the visual couple Choi Siwon and Lee Da Hee, ENA's "Love Is For Suckers" looks aesthetically pleasing. It was also the most anticipated comeback of the two actors since their last small screen appearance.

The drama seamlessly tackled the classic friends-to-lovers romance. Sadly, "Love Is For Suckers" was branded cliche and not exciting enough, and has become a flop among other works.

In addition to that, the recorded ratings of the drama remained stagnant, disappointing viewers.

Ok Taecyeon's 'Blind'

Perhaps the most disappointing work in this list is Ok Taecyeon and Jung Eunji's "Blind," an investigative action drama that offers spine-chilling twists but unfortunately, the series didn't attract many viewers.

Even the two lead stars' popularity didn't work to salvage the drama. It is believed that "Blind" is not a drama for everyone while some blame the latest time slot (10:40 p.m. KST) when it comes to South Korean drama.

The drama received an average rating of 2% during its entire run, cementing its name as the letdown work of the idol-actors.
