Hyun Bin’s Movie ‘Harbin’ Confirms Final Casting + Actors Reveal Expectation in Upcoming Film

The official cast of the upcoming movie "Harbin" has been revealed, featuring a star-studded lineup starting with Hyun Bin. According to a media outlet, Jeon Yeo Bin, Park Jung Min, Jo Woo Jin, Yoo Jae Myung, and Park Hoon will be headlining the highly anticipated film.

Hyun Bin's Movie 'Harbin' To Begin Production

Following the announcement of cast members, officials confirmed that they will begin shooting "Harbin" on November 20.

The forthcoming film will be directed by Woo Min Ho of "Inside Men," "The Drug King," and "The Man Standing Next."

Set in the early 1900s that occurred in Harbin, the capital of China's northern province, "Harbin" is a spy action movie that depicts the story of Korean independence activists who sacrificed their lives to reclaim their homeland.

Hyun Bin will take on the role of Ahn Jung Geun and is set to showcase outstanding action and emotional performance.

In "Harbin" viewers will get to see the top star delving into deep loneliness and frustration after seeing his motherland has been taken by others.

Meanwhile, Park Jung Min, who starred in Netflix's "Hellbound" will portray independence fighter Woo Deok Soon.

He will be working alongside Hyun Bin and Jo Woo Jin who plays Kim Sang Hyeon. The actor recently gained the public's attention after joining the cast of "Narco-Saints" and was able to deliver a show-stopping performance.

As for Jeon Yeo Bin and Choi Jae Hyung, the actress took the role of a student in the independence army while her co-star plays the assistant of Dr. Ahn Jung Geun.

Lastly, Park Hoon, who recently appeared in "Remarriage and Desires" and "Hansan: Rise of the Dragon" is set to portray Tatsuo Mori of the Japanese Empire.

'Harbin' Cast talks About Their Expectations for the Upcoming Movie

While viewers are thrilled to watch this roster of stars in one movie, the cast spoke about their thoughts and views about the movie.

In the same report, Director Woo Min Ho gets honest and said that he is "nervous" and at the same time "excited" to begin the production adding that he will have a new way of approaching the project and is "different from the previous works."

Moreover, he also wished that they would wrap up the movie safely.

On the other hand, Park Jung Min says that he feels "a lot of pressure in acting in a work about the heroes of Korean history."

As for Jeon Yeo Bin who appeared in "Vincenzo" and recently in "Glitch" she pointed out that the story depicts the outpouring of love for the country and promised to illustrate it with understanding.

As the team gears up for its production, "Harbin" will also be filming across Korea, Latvia, and Mongolia.
