Choi Sooyoung & Yoon Park Share Reasons For Choosing 'Fanletter Please'

Ahead of the drama's much awaited premiere, Choi Sooyoung and Yoon Park talked about "Fanletter Please" and dished out their thoughts, raising expectations!

The forthcoming rom-com series follows the story of an actress and a single father who protects his daughter's fangirl heart by writing fake replies to her letters.

In the series, Choi Sooyoung plays Han Kang Hee, an A-list actress while Yoon Park takes on the role of Bang Jung Suk, the former's first love and a caring single father to a daughter with leukemia.

Because of the great development of the characters, Choi Sooyoung had no choice but to say yes to the impressive work. She said, "I loved how the drama highlighted the essence of love and the smallest things in life that make people happy."

Meanwhile, Yoon Park's interest was piqued by the daily lives of the characters which are laced by fantasy, thanks to the too good to be true celebrity romance. In addition to that, the actor was mostly eager to take on the father role for the first time.

As for their characterizations, Choi Sooyoung said that she resonated with her character due to her bright yet reserved personality. Han Kang Hee has an aloof yet cute charm that the actress thinks she also has.

Yoon Park, on the other hand, believes that he and his character are both passionate, loving and rational. Once they get into something, it'll be impossible for them to detach from it.

Apart from their new acting roles, the chemistry between Choi Sooyoung and Yoon Park is also a factor they look forward to showing to the viewers.

Choi Sooyoung stated that she was comfortable around Yoon Park, which really helped during the drama filming. She added, "He brings out the best in the actors around him. Yoon Park encourages us and even helps us analyze our characters better."

Yoon Park confessed that she felt the same way towards the singer-actress, too, saying, "Thanks to her, I was able to film happily and with ease. We communicated well and exchanged ideas to achieve better results."

Yoon Park also compliments Choi Sooyoung, saying that the drama felt like it was customized exactly for her. "Fanletter Please" is a drama that brings comfort and entertainment to viewers of all ages-a perfect drama for a family night!
