Ahn Bo Hyun Stirs Buzz For Being Miscast' in 'See You In My 19th Life'
Even before its premiere, the forthcoming drama "See You In My 19th Life" is already stirring quite the buzz in the entertainment scene.
The drama stars Ahn Bo Hyun and Shin Hye Sun which depicts the fantasy romance between a woman who doesn't remember her past lives and a man whom she seeks in her 19th life.
"See You In My 19th Life" tackles the themes of emotional trauma, loss and true love. While many fans are thrilled to see Ahn Bo Hyun and Shin Hye Sun together on one screen, many expressed their disappointment for the casting.
Some viewers claimed that the casting of Ahn Bo Hyun as the male lead in the drama was a mistake. Since the drama is based on a webtoon, the drama has a big fan base already right before it even started.
Ahn Bo Hyun's new acting role, Moon Seo Ha, was described as a feeble man with a soft appearance in the webtoon. But in the entertainment industry, the actor is famous for his strong and healthy image.
Standing at 187 cm tall, Ahn Bo Hyun boasts rock hard abs and broad shoulders. His experience as a former boxer also helped in being lean and fit.

Fans wrote, "Ahn Bo Hyun doesn't look like he gets sick easily. The male lead is a weak person. They're destroying the original work."
"The lineup doesn't justify the original work. This is a mistake," they added. In addition to Ahn Bo Hyun's "miscast," fans also claim that Shin Hye Sun doesn't remind them of the female lead of the webtoon.
However, some of the fans believe that Ahn Bo Hyun and Shin Hye Sun will be able to turn the situation positively when the drama is released, especially with the actors' strong filmography.
'See You In My 19th Life' Release Date and Further Details
Apart from the duo, "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" actress Ha Yoon Kyung will also join the cast as Shin Hye Sun's younger sister.
"The Law Cafe" star Ahn Dong Goo confirmed his appearance as Ahn Bo Hyun's childhood friend and secretary in the drama.
"See You In My 19th Life" is directed by Lee Na Jung, the maker of the international blockbuster series "Oh My Venus," "Fight For My Way" and "Love Alarm," to name a few. Furthermore, the drama will premiere in the first half of 2023.
