tvN officially addressed the reports about BTS V, who is rumored to join the upcoming reality program "Seo Jin's" along with actors and his real-life friends Park Seo Joon and Choi Woo Sik.

To recall, in November, broadcasting company tvN confirmed that producing director Na Young Suk would be releasing a new show called "Seo Jin's" (working title), which is a spin-off of "Youn's Kitchen." The program follows the cast of stars' journey in opening and running a small Korean restaurant overseas.

Award-winning actress Youn Yuh Jung, who was an original cast, is said to be busy filming "Pachinko" Season 2.

Due to conflict of schedules, Lee Seo Jin will take over as the boss of the new restaurant and will be joined by the show's former cast members Jung Yu Mi, Park Seo Joon, and Choi Woo Sik.

tvN Responds To Reports About BTS V's Possible Participation in 'Seo Jin's'

On December 6, according to a news cited by StarNews, BTS V would also be starring in the program's spin-off.

In addition, the idol-actor had recently gone to Mexico and secretly filmed "Seo Jin's" together with Wooga squad members Park Seo Joon and Choi Woo Sik.

The rumored appearance of BTS V immediately became a hot topic online.

In response to the news, an official from tvN already released a statement to address the issue.

"In line with the news of BTS V's potential appearance on tvN's upcoming variety show 'Seo Jin's,' we are still in the process of checking whether it is true with producers who are currently filming on location overseas. Because of the difference in time zones, it is taking some time for us to check the facts, we are asking for your understanding."

In addition, tvN did not reveal precisely in what country the show is being filmed. It is for the sake and safety of the cast and staff, and also for the fast and smooth production.
