K-Drama Pairs To Compete for Best Couple Title in This Year's SBS Drama Awards
On December 21, SBS announced the four pairs who will compete to win the Best Couple trophy for this year's drama awards.
Though there are only four candidates for the category, each pair have distinct charms that viewers and fans enjoy during the run of their respective series.
Dominating the list are the "Business Proposal" lead stars. Ahn Hyo Seop and Kim Sejeong showered the viewers with their undeniable chemistry in the webtoon-based drama, and they are one of the strongest candidates that many wish to win the title.
Joining them are their co-stars Seol In Ah and Kim Min Gyu, who played as the second lead couple. Both pairs received massive support from local and international fans. Their careers also blew up and more solo projects were given to them.
The third on the list is the "Woori the Virgin" stars Im Soo Hyang, Sung Hoon, and Shin Dong Wook. This trio also made an amazing performance showcasing a complicated yet warm love story in the romance drama.
Last but not the least, the "Cheer Up" couple Bae In Hyuk and Han Ji Hyun. They shared a great synergy in the campus-romance series that made the viewers hooked with their on-screen chemistry.

Even though it was their first lead roles, In Hyuk and Ji Hyun exhibited their talent in acting, which was lauded by many. Trying out fresh roles as university students complimented well with their youthful and bright aura.
Online Voting For Best Couple Category To Last Until December 30
Furthermore, as the candidates were already revealed the voting for the Best Couple has already started also and will end on December 30, before the official announcement of winners.
Recently, SBS also named the nine K-dramas competing for this year's grand prize, mostly known as the Daesang.
Included on the list are "One Dollar Lawyer," "Again My Life," "Business Proposal," "Why Her," "Woori the Virgin," "Today's Webtoon," "Through the Darkness," "Cheer Up," and "The First Responders."
In addition, the 2022 SBS Drama Awards will be hosted by Shin Dong Hyup, Ahn Hyo Seop, and Kim Sejeong. The awarding ceremony will happen on December 31.
