‘The Glory’ Episode 5-8: Song Hye Kyo & Lee Do Hyun Join Hands For Revenge

Things get a bit darker in the remaining four episodes of Part 1 of "The Glory"! Song Hye Kyo, who doesn't plan to hold back, begins to move her Go pieces as she meets new allies along the way.

Moon Dong Eun Messes With Park Yeon Jin's Family

To execute her plans to success, she makes sure that Park Yeon Jin (Lim Ji Yeon) is left with nothing in the end. Moon Dong Eun (Song Hye Kyo) then infiltrates her family.

Moon Dong Eun entices Park Yeon Jin's husband, Ha Do Young (Jung Sung Il), with her charisma. The two would often play Go in silence, not knowing about their mutual connection.

In addition to that, Moon Dong Eun taunts Park Yeon Jin about her secret: she knows that her daughter isn't Ha Do Young's due to her colorblindness, which is similar to Jeon Jae Joon's (Park Sung Hoon) case.

She doesn't stop there, and even sends Park Yeon Jin's daughter's toothbrush to Jeon Jae Joon, revealing the truth.

Joo Yeo Jeong's Dark Past

Without Moon Dong Eun knowing, Joo Yeo Jeong (Lee Do Hyun) moves to the place where the other is currently living.

In the second half of the drama's Part 1, it is revealed that Joo Yeo Jeong also plans to get revenge on someone, just like Moon Dong Eun.

As he comes from a family of doctors, it's their duty to save lives. However, a patient unexpectedly kills his own father for no reason, which traumatizes him.

So when Moon Dong Eun bares her soul onto him, he is more than willing to kill for her, joining her as her executioner.

Elsewhere, a nervous Choi Hye Jeong (Cha Joo Young) asks Moon Dong Eun for forgiveness in hopes to save her from an impending doom.

The other then orders Choi Hye Jeong to report Son Myeong Oh's (Kim Gun Woo), which puts Lee Sa Ra (Kim Hieora) in a difficult situation.

Even more so, Ha Do Young grows more suspicious about his wife and Moon Dong Eun's past. He contacts Choi Hye Jeong and bribes her with a designer bag and learns how Park Yeon Jin and her friends tortured Moon Dong Eun.

When he tries to confront Park Yeon Jin, she threatens and tells him not to dig into the past that no longer matters in the present.

Park Yeon Jin Learns About Moon Dong Eun's Plans

In the final episode of Part 1, Park Yeon Jin discovers that Moon Dong Eun lives directly in front of her house.

That's when she realizes how serious the other is about getting back at her, expressing her regret about torturing Moon Dong Eun.

While she's busy examining Moon Dong Eun's home, her husband, Ha Do Young, meets up with the latter and interrogates her.

Moon Dong Eun doesn't deny anything, making the latter even more nervous and confused. At the end of the episode, Park Yeon Jin is surprised after she sees her own husband enter Moon Dong Eun's house.

At the hospital, Joo Yeo Jeong learns that Park Yeon Jin's other victim Yoon So Hee's (Lee So Yi) body is missing from the mortuary.
