Just when she redeems herself in the entertainment industry with her breakthrough role in "The Glory," fans and new viewers criticize Shin Ye Eun for one of her scenes in the show.

The actress received flak for her "no bra" scene in "The Glory." Here's what the public said.

Shin Ye Eun Criticized For Vulgar Scene in 'The Glory'

In her new acting role in Netflix's "The Glory," Shin Ye Eun captured the eyes of the viewers with her intense synchronization and performance.

"The Glory" follows the story of Moon Dong Eun, played by Song Hye Kyo, a teacher who seeks revenge from her student's parents-the same people who tortured and assaulted her in high school.

In the series, Shin Ye Eun took on the role of Park Yeon Jin, the younger version of Lim Ji Yeon, who bullied Moon Dong Eun along with her gang.

Shin Ye Eun successfully caught the attention of the viewers with her unmatched beauty that brings both cider-like freshness and sophistication to the screen.

Apart from that, many are in awe of her excellent villainous performance as she truly embodied a real school bully through her subtle facial expressions, tone and behavior.

In one of the scenes of the series, Shin Ye Eun completely turned the tables as she did not shy away from exposing her body for a scene. Many were surprised to see her in a church wearing a shirt with no bra.

The scene spiraled on social media, and received many negative reactions from the public. One viewer stated that it wasn't a necessary scene and should have never been included in the show.

'The Glory' Production Unit Defends Shin Ye Eun's Vulgar Scene

After the release of Part 1, the production unit thanked the viewers for the immense support all over the world.

Regarding Shin Ye Eun's obscene scene in the show, the production unit confirmed that the actress actually filmed the scene without a bra.

"Park Yeon Jin is a character with no remorse and she does everything on impulse," screenwriter Kim Eun Sook reasoned.

"It makes sense that she'd do that in spite and never think about the consequences."

With this, viewers eventually understood Park Yeon Jin's character and psyche. They also become impressed with Shin Ye Eun's detailed acting despite the backlash.

Shin Ye Eun Dishes Honest Thoughts on 'The Glory'

Years after her debut, Shin Ye Eun was unable to climb on top of the limelight until "The Glory."

Shin Ye Eun has been in several works including "A-Teen," "More The Friends" and "Welcome." However, all of these received significantly low ratings during its broadcast.

The young actress would blame herself for the plummeting ratings, affecting her self-esteem and passion.

Thankfully, "The Glory" came to her doorstep one day and he didn't hesitantly accept the offer. Shin Ye Eun stated, "This marks the beginning of my career. I promise to greet you with better works in the future."
