Son Seok Koo started 2023 with a bang after the versatile actor leads Movie Stars Brand Reputation rankings for January 2023.

Released by the Korean Business Research Institute, the month's brand reputation list for film actors was based on media coverage interaction, participation, and community indexes of 50 actors who appeared from December 12, 2022, to January 12, 2023, on the big screen.

As obtained by a media outlet for the first month of 2023, Son Seok Koo proves his reign by surpassing veteran actors and top stars.

Son Seok Koo No. 1 in January Movie Stars Brand Reputation Rankings

In a report, the 39-year-old star took first place in the brand reputation rankings, with a brand reputation index of 10,126,749 and a participation index of 1,045,199.

For its media index Son Seok Koo garnered 4,879,407 points.

Son Seok Koo's latest achievement was due to his outstanding performance in the blockbuster movie "The Roundup" with Ma Dong Seok.

The versatile star played the role of the new villain Gang Hae Sang, a known criminal who flee from Korea to move to Vietnam.

With Seok Koo leading this month's movie actor rankings, Koo Chang Hwan, the director of the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute, shared that his key points include "cool, soft, and lethal' descriptions while his keyword analysis includes "OTT, detective, and casino."

Choi Min Shik, Hyun Bin Land Second and Third Place

From Son Seok Koo, the second place was taken by Choi Min Shik after landing a lead role in the thriller drama movie "The Unearthed Grave" with Kim Go Eun.

The veteran star scored a participation index of 630,732 with a media index of 2,891,325, resulting in a brand reputation index of 7,331,007.

Meanwhile, capping off the top three stars is Hyun Bin with a band reputation index of 7,186,199, almost close to Choi Min Shik.

The South Korean heartthrob appeared in his big screen comeback "Confidential Assignment 2: International" followed by his new movie "The Point Men" with the equally talented Hwang Jung Min.
