Kim Hee Sun received a casting offer to headline the forthcoming psychological thriller drama "Gaslighting" (literal title).
It depicts the story of a woman and her mother-in-law's tryst in figuring out the secrets and hidden truths about each other because of their beloved husband and son.
"Gaslighting" is a fusion of thriller and comedy, and Kim Hee Sun is known for her immersive and comical acting skills that she flaunted in previous works such as "Tomorrow," "Remarriage * Desires" and more.
In the drama, Kim Hee Sun was offered to play the role of Young Won, the best psychological counselor in South Korea who's walking on eggshells around her own mother-in-law.

"Gaslighting" will consist of a total of 12 episodes with one hour running time each.
The series is helmed by screenwriter Nam Ji Yeon, the creator of "So I Married the Anti-Fan," and Kim Seung Woo, the director of "Bring Me Home."
