‘Taxi Driver 2’ Hints at Continuation of Lee Je Hoon’s Character Wang Tao Zi and Romance With Madame Lim
SBS continues to tease viewers with the much-awaited return of "Taxi Driver 2" starring Lee Je Hoon.
As the broadcast network gears up for the premiere of the beloved revenge series, the script reading featured the new and returning cast including Shim So Young who took the iconic role of Madame Lim.
Headlined by Lee Je Hoon, Kim Eu Suing, Pyo Ye Jin along with the Rainbow Taxi mechanics Bae Yoo Ram and Jang Hyuk Jin, the second season will introduce the team's new. member Shin Jae Ha as On Ha Joon.
Shim So Young's Role as Madame Lim to Appear in 'Taxi Driver 2'
SBS showed a sneak peek of the "Taxi Driver 2" script reading where cast members are gathered as actors break down the story scene by scene.
Besides the main leads, a familiar face was spotted as Shim So Young will be reprising her role as Madame Lim.

To recall, in "Taxi Driver: episode 9, Madame Lim was introduced as a ruthless gangster who runs illegal activities.
Due to the Rainbow Taxi's mission to hunt down these criminals, Kim Do Ki, played by Lee Je Hoon disguised himself as Chinese investor Wang Tao Chi.
As part of the group's plan, Kim Do Ki's disguise must win the heart of Madame Li.
Interestingly, he succeeded in his plan, thanks to Wang Tao Chi's undeniable charm.
The scene also included Wang Tao Chi and Madame Lim's first date, showing off the duo's chemistry that surely entertained the viewers.
Apart from "Taxi Driver" seasons 1 and 2, Shim So Young also appeared in various K-dramas such as "Behind Every Star as a veteran talent agent and assistant director Jang Myung Ae, as well as in "Alchemy of Souls" season 1 as Shaman Choi.
'Taxi Driver 2' Release Date and What to Expect in Lee Je Hoon's New Drama
After almost 2 years since season 1 successfully wrapped up the show, the beloved members of Rainbow Taxi group will return with a bolder mission along with a new member.
"Taxi Driver 2" will be Shin Jae Ha's official project since his discharge in the military and will be playing the new driver On Ha Joon.
His character is described as someone a new driver at Rainbow Taxi, and he is described who has an innocent charm.
Unfortunately, viewers will not be seeing Esom play the role of fearless prosecutor Kang Han Na as the actress declined the offer due to a schedule conflict.
As for the "Taxi Driver 2" release date, SBS revealed that Lee Je Hoon's new drama will premiere on February 17.
