Lee Je Hoon dons another major transformation as the actor reprises his role in "Taxi Driver" season 2.

The long wait is over for fans as SBS dropped still cuts for the highly-anticipated sequel, showing the actor's ripped physique.

'Taxi Driver 2' Stills Tease Viewers With Lee Je Hoon's Jaw-Dropping Physique

Teasing viewers with what to expect with the upcoming premiere of "Taxi Driver 2," Lee Je Hoon displays a hard rock body as he plays the iconic character of Kim Do Ki of Rainbow taxi.

As seen on the still cuts, Lee Je Hoon, who now dons long hair and entertains himself by working out while being imprisoned in solitary confinement.

"Taxi Driver 2" teaser also showcased Kim Do Ki's intense training, hinting that he might be preparing for something big once he gets out.

As obtained by a local media outlet, the production team shared Lee He Joon's preparation for the much-awaited sequel.

The team said that the actor is "doing his best every moment on set based on his special affection for the second season, adding "From acting to visual realization, there is a great passion to provide perfection and fun that surpasses Season 1."

What to Expect in 'Taxi Driver Season 2'?

Initially released in 2021, "Taxi Driver" which stars Lee Je Hoon immediately gained viewers' attention for its unique storyline that focuses on social problems like bullying and harassment.

Interestingly, the SBS series was among the most-watched K-dramas of 2021, leaving the 16-part episode series with its personal best of 13.2 percent.

With the public's demand for the drama series to return with a sequel, the broadcast network announced the return of Rainbow Taxi group in June 2022, making viewers look forward to seeing more of Kim Do Ki's mission.

As obtained by a media outlet, SBS officially confirmed the cast lineup and who among the actors will return for the second season.

"The drama's main actors Lee Je Hoon, Kim Eui Sung, Pyo Ye Jin, Jang Hyuk Jin, and Bae Yoo Ram, who play the 5 members of the Rainbow Taxi team, have all joined," the statement reads. Unfortunately, Esom, who played the role of prosecutor Kang Ha Na, has declined the offer to reprise his role due to scheduling conflicts.

On the other hand, new cast members include Shin Jae Ha who will join the Rainbow Taxi team as a new driver, On Ha Joon, and will be his first project in two years.

Where to Watch 'Taxi Driver Season 2'?

Slated to premiere on February 17, the 16-part episode K-drama will air every Friday and Saturday through SBS.

As for global viewers, the outlet confirmed that "Taxi Driver 2" will be available on Netflix on February 17.
