Nam Joo Hyuk To Enlist in THIS Month
Hallyu favorite star Nam Joo Hyuk is finally set to fulfill his mandatory military duty this 2023.
The actor dominated the year 2022 with his internationally-acclaimed melodrama "Twenty Five, Twenty One," with Kim Tae Ri, WJSN Bona, Choi Hyun Wook and Lee Joo Myung.
Nam Joo Hyuk To Finally Enlist in Military
Fans are feeling bittersweet after top star Nam Joo Hyuk announced his enlistment plans!
After the success of his A-graded drama "Twenty Five, Twenty One," Nam Joo Hyuk was reported to enlist in the military in December. However, he didn't receive official summons from the authorities.
On January 31, a representative from Management SOOP, Nam Joo Hyuk's agency, shared that the actor was accepted into the military police force.
"Nam Joo Hyuk applied to The Capital Defense Command Military Police Group in May, and was finally accepted," Nam Joo Hyuk's side stated.
With this, Nam Joo Hyuk will serve as a military police officer riot squad. He will officially begin his service on March 20.

In addition to that, he will receive basic military training at the training center for five weeks before being transferred to his spot.

Nam Joo Hyuk teams up with "Money Heist Korea: Joint Economic Area" star Yoo Ji Tae and "Along With the Gods: The Last 49 Days" actor Lee Joon Hyuk.

"Vigilante" focuses on the ordinary life of a college student who becomes a detective to gain power in order to seek revenge from his parents' murderers.
Based on the webtoon of the same name, "Vigilante" is predicted to deliver an exhilarating watching experience especially with its star-studded cast.
Even more so, the new Disney+ series marks Nam Joo Hyuk's first ever action drama since making his acting debut in 2014.
"Vigilante" is currently in its post production process, however, it hasn't announced its official release date yet. The Disney+ series is aimed to premiere in the second quarter of 2023! Stay tuned for more updates!
