After three years of waiting, finally, viewers will get to see the staff of Doldam hospital, headed by Teacher Kim, again! Apart from the returning cast, the third season also welcomes new cast members.
'Dr. Romantic 3' Script Reading Highlights
In a series of photos, the lineup showcased their undeniable on-screen chemistry.
For three seasons, Han Seok Kyu reprised his role as Teacher Kim, the talented surgeon at the shabby countryside hospital. He will be reunited with the junior doctors Seo Woo Jin and Cha Eun Jae, played by Ahn Hyo Seop and Lee Sung Kyung.
Interestingly, viewers will also get to see head nurse Oh Myung Sim, played by Jin Kyung, along with Nurse Park, portrayed by Kim Min Jae.
Adding to the list of "Dr. Romantic 3" cast are Lim Won Hee, Byeon Woo Min, Kim Joo Hun, Yoon Na Moo, Bora, and more.
Meanwhile, newcomers include "Rookie Cops" actor Lee Shin Young as the youngest doctor, while Lee Hong Nae from "Inspector Koo" will portray a military doctor character.
'Dr. Romantic 3' Cast Shares What to Expect in Upcoming Season
According to a media outlet, the cast members share their thoughts about the much-awaited sequel of the medical K-drama.
Han Seok Kyu, who has been playing the role of Teacher Kim for three sequels, expressed his gratitude to viewers who have been supporting the drama since its first season.
"I want to make Season 3 enjoyable again. Thank you for making the stage like this," he said.

Meanwhile, Ahn Hyo Seop, who has been with the drama for 2 seasons, said that it is an "honor" to be able to be part of "Dr. Romantic 3" and reunite with his fellow actors.
The same goes for Lee Sung Kyung, who expressed her affection and said, "I am lucky to be able to do this work again."
On the other hand, the production team hints that the third installment will showcase "spectacular events" and the "reality" of the characters.
Lastly, PD Yoo In Shik, who also directed seasons 1 and 2, as well as Park Eun Bin's hit drama "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" teases viewers with a romantic environment of the medical series.
Moreover, he pointed out how the medical series is "becoming a life drama for many people."
Interestingly, "Dr. Romantic 3" will be released in April after Lee Je Hoon's crime action series wrapped up its second season and will be the newest Friday and Saturday K-drama.
