‘Dr Romantic 3’ Introduces Lee Shin Young, Lee Hong Nae as Hard Working Maknaes of Doldam Hospital
The hit medical K-drama "Dr. Romantic 3" continues to tease viewers with intriguing still cuts featuring the cast.
As for the latest update, SBS dropped teasers featuring new cast members Lee Shin Young and Lee Hong Nae.
One of the most anticipated K-dramas of 2023, the beloved medical series "Dr. Romantic 3" returns with the legendary doctor, Kim Sa Bu, played by Han Suk Kyu.
Along with the returning cast and new faces, the upcoming sequel is making a comeback three years after season 2 aired.
New season means viewers will get to see more additions to the Doldam Hospital family.
Lee Shin Young & Lee Hong Nae as 'Golden Maknaes' in 'Dr. Romantic 3'
In the latest still cuts released by SBS, new cast members were officially introduced to the public along with a glimpse of their characters.
Lee Shin Young will take on the role of Jang Dong Hwa, while Lee Hong Nae will play the role of Lee Sun Woong.
Both characters will portray Seo Woo Jin and Cha Eun Jae's juniors, played by Ahn Hyo Seop and Lee Sung Kyung.
As seen in the photo, Jang Dong Hwa entertains himself with a mobile game, while the other snap features a photo of him looking tired.
On the other hand, Lee Sun Woong expressed a different emotion, as the rookie doctor seemed thrilled to be working at Doldam Hospital. With this, viewers can expect a different chemistry as the OG staff meets the newbie doctors.

In a separate report, Lee Shin Young shared his thoughts about the upcoming medical K-drama and said that he met a lot of great actors through the series.
According to the rising star, "Dr. Romantic 3" felt like a "battlefield" adding, "there are people who are serious about acting. There are many moments where I feel like I am really lacking."
Nonetheless, Lee Shin Young has delivered remarkable performances in his previous works, including "Crash Landing on You," "Rookie Cops," and "Bite Sisters."
'Dr. Romantic 3' Cast, Release Date
As mentioned, several actors will reprise their roles in season 3.
Apart from Han Suk Kyu, Lee Sung Kyung, Ahn Hyo Seop, and the two new cast members Lee Shin Young and Lee Hong Nae, Kim Joo Heon, Kim Min Jae, Jin Kyung, So Ju Yeon, Shin Dong Wook, and more will reprise their respective roles.
In addition, "Dr. Romantic 3" will also feature a new villain through Lee Kyung Young, who previously played as Carl Yoon in "QueenMaker."
As for the K-drama's premiere, viewers will get to see the Doldam family reunite on April 28, airing every Friday and Saturday via SBS.
