THIS ‘Dr Romantic 3’ Cast Continues to Receive Criticisms For His Past Controversy
Viewers are looking forward to seeing the reunion of Doldam staff as SBS officials announced the release of "Dr. Romantic 3."
Headlined by Han Suk Kyu as the iconic doctor, Kim Sa Bu, a.k.a. Teacher Kim, he will once again melt the hearts of viewers with a series of inspiring and uplifting stories with his colleagues and patients.
Joining the beloved doctor, Ahn Hyo Seop, Lee Sung Kyung, So Ju Yeon, Kim Min Jae, Jin Kyung, Im Won Hee, Byun Woo Min, Jung Ji Ahn and more will be reprising their roles.
In addition, the "Dr. Romantic 3" cast also introduces new faces joining the sequel, which includes Lee Shin Young as the youngest doctor at Doldam, Lee Hong Nae as the military doctor and the new villain, Lee Kyung Young.
However, as SBS released a group photo featuring the Doldam Hospital family, it received mixed reactions from the public, especially with Lee Kyung Young's appearance.

Over social media, some fans expressed their disappointment upon seeing the veteran actor in the latest teaser of "Dr. Romantic 3." This is due to his past controversy.
A fan account on Twitter cited Lee Kyung Young's scandal back in 2022, after he was arrested for prostitution of minors.
As reported by a media outlet, he reportedly "manipulated and exploited" an underage aspiring actress, whom they referred to as L," to have sexual activity with him.
At the height of the issue, the veteran actor faced extreme criticism from the public, which prompted him to go on a long hiatus.

However, after a decade since he last appeared on screen, Lee Kyung Young made a comeback in 2022 and began to join films and K-dramas again.
With the actor joining "Dr. Romantic 3," some raised the concern that he "should not be given any project."
Meanwhile, one even posted a side-by-side showing that Lee Kyung Young was not in the shoot during the pictorial for the official poster.

'Dr. Romantic 3' Release Date
As the broadcast network gears up for the much-awaited premiere of the medical K-drama, viewers are excited to see more drama and heartfelt interactions between the doctors and their patients.
Interestingly, "Dr. Romantic 3" release date is set for April 28, and will be the newest Friday and Saturday K-drama.
Viewers will get to see the 16-part episode series through SBS at 10 p.m. KST.
Beside the majority of the cast reprising their roles, "Dr. Romantic 3" will also feature Kim Sa Bu's lifelong dream for Doldam Hospital, which is establishing a trauma center for the patients.
