IU Reveals Having Scar on Her Face Because of ‘Dream’ Co-Star Park Seo Joon – Here’s What Happened
IU dishes on secrets and her experience filming "Dream," alongside Park Seo Joon.
While viewers are looking forward to seeing the on-screen chemistry of the duo, the idol-singer spoke about a situation where she got a scar on her face because of her co-star.
In the latest episode of her YouTube channel, "IU's Palette," she introduces a special guest as they celebrate the show's 20th episode. She invites her "Dream" co-stars Park Seo Joon, Jung Seong Kil, and Heo Jun Seok to talk about the upcoming film.
IU Had Mild Injury on Set of 'Dream' Because of Park Seo Joon - What Happened?
During her interview with her "Dream" co-stars, IU revealed a funny story regarding the scar on her face.
At the time, she was filming an emotional scene with Park Seo Joon. With the intention of not ruining the momentum, the actress shared that she sacrificed being bitten by a mosquito that landed on her cheek.
"I knew the mosquito was biting me, but I didn't want to interrupt your emotions, so I just got a mosquito bite," she tells Park Seo Joon.
The actor, who laughed at IU's confession, revealed that he also saw the huge mosquito, prompting him to deliver his lines quickly.
Unfortunately, that didn't work, and the actress suffered with a scar for over a month due to the mosquito bite.
Initially, Park Seo Joon thought that one month was "too much," but IU explained that it wasn't just an ordinary bug but a mountain mosquito. The bite itch looks like a round, puffy bump and appears soon after you've been bitten.
"I wouldn't make this up for nothing. No, it really stayed for a month," she pointed out.
'Dream' Cast, Release Date
In the upcoming movie, IU transforms into a struggling producing director named Lee So Min, who gets inspired by the team of Yoon Hong Dae. She wants to create a documentary about the team as they gear up for the Homeless World Cup event.

On the other hand, Park Seo Joon plays as soccer player Yoon Hong Dae. He was once a popular athlete but got caught up in a controversy, causing him to go on hiatus.
In order to redeem himself, he accepts the offer of being the head coach but turned out to be captivated by the heartwarming stories of his team members.
Joining the duo as supporting cast members are Kim Jong Soo, Jung Seong Kil, Lee Hyun Woo, Heo Jun Seok, and more.
In addition, Kang Ha Neul will have a special appearance in "Dream."
To recall, the award-winning actor and Park Seo Joon starred in the movie "Midnight Runners" as well as IU in the hostorcial K-drama "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo."
Park Seo Joon and IU's movie "Dream" premiered on April 26.
