Here are four sports K-Drama recommendations that you might want to check out this week! Keep on reading!

'Racket Boys'

The year 2021 was graced with the tear-inducing youth and sports drama "Racket Boys"! It's the first ever badminton-based series in the history of Hallyu, which centers on the group of young athtletes who dream to become a great badminton player.

"Racket Boys" introduced rising stars Lee Ji Won, Kim Kang Hoon, Lee Jae In and Tang Joon Sang who all depicted the beauty of family, friendship, dreams, love and determination.

'Twenty Five, Twenty One'

In 2022, Kim Tae Ri, Nam Joo Hyuk, WJSN Bona and Choi Hyun Wook dominated the K-Drama scene with their smash hit sports romance drama "Twenty Five, Twenty One"!

The series, set in the 1990s, follows the youths who work hard to become something big in life. In the series, Kim Tae Ri plays Na Hee Do, an aspiring fencer who soon becomes South Korea's Olympic gold medalist.

While it gives emphasis to passion and perseverance, it also gave importance to second chances and inevitable changes in life like relationships, friendships and careers.

"Twenty Five, Twenty One" has become the most celebrated work in 2022, penetrating not only the domestic entertainment scene but also international channels.

In fact, the series is still one of the most streamed works on Netflix today as fans find it hard to let go of them!

'Love All Play'

Park Ju Hyun and Chae Jong Hyeop's sports romance drama "Love All Play" is also in the list!

Although it was one of the most underrated works in 2022, the drama still offers a great plot and execution when it comes to sports dramas.

It features the cat-and-dog romance drama between a professional athlete and a badminton star who doesn't want to be inside the court anymore, creating tension inside the court.

It's a perfect enemies-to-lovers series that sends chills and heartthumping feeling to every viewer, while still dealing with relevant themes like grief, burnout and disappointment.

BONUS: 'Dream'

While "Dream" is a film and relatively shorter than 16-parter series, Park Seo Joon and IU's recently premiered movie also offers a cider-like present that gives off healing and comforting vibes to every viewer.

The film follows the story of a passionless coach, played by Park Seo Joon, and a soulless producing director, played by IU, who both work together despite their clashing personalities to make the Homeless Soccer Team win the Homeless World Cup.

With the actors' amazing acting chops, fans are taken to a fun ride that brings nostalgia and encouragement to viewers who are experiencing a tough battle in their personal lives.
