Every year, there are hundreds of K-Dramas that grace the small screen that vye for high praises and recognition.

However, only one drama takes home the trophy and gets recognized as the Best Drama at Baeksang Arts Awards, an anticipated and distinguished awards show that celebrates talents and brilliance.

Here are the Best Dramas in the past decade! Read to know more!

'Good Doctor'

Joo Won and Moon Chae Won's "Good Doctor" left a great impression on the public during its run, and was named the Best Drama of 2014 at the Baeksang Arts Awards.

It tells the life of a doctor who needs to prove himself as a doctor despite being diagnosed with autism.

'Heard It Through the Grapevine'

Yoo Jun Sang and Yoo Ho Jeong's black comedy series "Heard It Through the Grapevine" is one of the most underrated series in the history of K-Drama.

But because of its satirical yet effective narrative which focuses on South Korea's 1%, the series received great response from its domestic viewers.

The 30-parter drama was hailed Best Drama at the Baeksang Arts Awards in 2015.

'Signal'

"Signal," starring Lee Je Hoon and Kim Hye Soo, won over the hearts of the viewers for its amazingly written and resonating narrative.

During its run, it became the 11th highest rated series in South Korean history. It was also named the Best Drama in 2016, and even bagged the Daesang (Grand Prize) at the Baeksang Arts Awards.

'Beyond Evil'

In 2021, Shin Ha Kyun and Yeo Jin Goo swept the awards shows with their top notch drama "Beyond Evil"! The two actors transformed into dauntless men who break the law in order to capture a notorious serial killer.

With its perfectly written narrative, it was named Best Drama in 2021. Not only that but it also bagged the Best Screenplay and Best Actor for Shin Ha Kyun!

'D.P.'

Jung Hae In and Koo Kyo Hwan played the roles of military police in the 2022 Netflix series "D.P."!

The series boasted a gripping story that focuses on what happens inside the camp and military base. "D.P." beat "Squid Game" and "Twenty Five, Twenty One," and bagged the Best Drama award.

In addition to that, Cho Hyun Chul and Koo Kyo Hwan were hailed as Best Supporting Actor and Best New Actor, respectively.

This 2023, "D.P." returns to the small screen with its second installment, much to fans' delight!

'The Glory'

Earlier this month, the 59th Baeksang Arts Awars named the talents that shone the brightest in the past year.

Netflix's "The Glory" starring Song Hye Kyo, Lee Do Hyun and Lim Ji Yeon won Best Drama, all thanks to its realistic portrayal of the rampant bullying in South Korea, beating "Little Women," "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" and more.

Moreover, Song Hye Kyo and Lim Ji Yeon bagged the Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress Award, correspondingly, all thanks to their exceptionally amazing performances.
