Kim So Yeon Reveals Getting ‘Lucky Charm Gift’ From Girl’s Generation’s Taeyeon
Kim So Yeon shares a remarkable instance in her life where she was saved by Girl's Generation's Taeyeon.
The award winning actress recalled a time when the K-pop star didn't hesitate to extend a helping hand and save her from a stressful situation.
During her appearance on tvN's "Amazing Saturday," the 42-year-old actress spoke about her interaction with the Girl's Generation member.
Kim So Yeon Shared the Time When She Received a Lucky Charm from Girl's Generation's Taeyeon
Kim So Yeon recalled being on the same show with Taeyeon and having no choice but to ask her a huge favor.
According to the actress, the incident happened 13 years ago when she had to perform a dance number in one of the shows.
"I had to dance during the show, but I was wearing a short skirt," she said, as quoted by SBS Star.
At the time, she didn't have inner pants and was worried about having a wardrobe malfunction, so she asked Taeyeon if she had extra clothes.
"I ran to Taeyeon to ask if she had a spare pair of inner pants. Being of the Girls' Generation, I thought to myself, 'She must have one with her!'" she said, recalling how the conversation went.
Thankfully, the K-pop star had a spare and lent it to Kim So Yeon, recalling how she was thankful to her at the time.
She got the clothing cleaned and tried to return it to the Girl's Generation member, but she told her that she could have it and take it as a gift from her.
Kim So Yeon says that she "felt honored to receive a gift" from Taeyeon and revealed that she has been "wearing them on important days."
The award-winning actress aslo shared that it feels like it's her lucky charm, adding, "I feel like they have good energy. Because... Whenever I wear them, they seem to give me good energy."

Apart from her recent appearance in tvN's "Amazing Saturday," Kim So Yeon also guested in "Yoo Quiz on the Block," where the actress gained the attention of fans after sharing her relationship with Lee Sang Woo.

At the show, she mentioned how she gets cold easily, but her husband would stop her from using the heater.
The story sparked dissatisfaction from viewers, with some even thinking that Kim So Yeon is in an "unhappy marriage," while others pointed out that Lee Sang Woo gaslights his wife.
However, Kim So Yeon took to social media and defended her husband from the allegations.
She mentioned that the actor doesn't let her turn on the heater for her health and to boost her immune system.
"(My husband) is the one who cares most about my health and worries for me," she added.
Besides her happy marriage, Kim So Yeon returns to the small screen with an interesting K-drama staring Kim Bum and Lee Dong Wook for "Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938."
