THIS ‘Boys Over Flowers’ Star Gifts Parents New Car Ahead of Special Day
Kim Hyun Joong repaid the kindness of his parents by gifting them a lavish present to honor them on their special day.
The singer-actor, who is widely known for his role in "Boys Over Flowers," took to social media and showed the fruits of his labor that he'd be sharing with his father and mother.

On Kim Hyun Joong's Instagram, he posted a series of photos featuring his parents' old black car, which they have been using for almost 20 years. He said that it was the car he bought them after getting his settlement in 2006.
"Your diligence has won. Now, on this Parents' Day, please accept a new car," he wrote in a post, adding, "Drive this car for over 15 years, and I will replace it with the best car again after 15 years. I present you with eternal youth and safety. Happy Parents' Day."
Kim Hyun Jung's Instagram featured a sleek, brand new black Genesis GV80 along with flowers and a small gift for his parents. In the comments section, fans and netizens praised the actor's action towards his parents.
Moreover, they also praised the actor for his respect and love for his parents by gifting them a priceless present, noting how lucky they are to have him as their son.
Kim Hyun Joong began his career as a member of the boy group SS501, which made its debut in 2005.
Due to his visuals and skills, he landed the lead role in "Boys Over Flowers" along with Kim Bum, Lee Min Ho, and Kim Joon back in 2009.
Due to the fame of the K-drama, his popularity rose, landing him lead roles in various projects. One of which was another hit K-drama, "Playful Kiss," with Jung So Min.
