A bunch of fashion enthusiasts and foreign celebrities gathered at the big fashion event of the famous brand Gucci. The Italian fashion house had a Cruise 2024 show in Seoul, Gyeongbokgung Palace, on May 16.
One of the best highlights of the show was the stage in Geunjeongjeon Hall, which is considered the country's national treasure. The production that introduced the authentic culture of Korea greeted foreign envoys and ambassadors.

Later that day, IU went viral not just because of her stunning look at the fashion event but also her recent interaction with Thai actress-model Davika Hoorne.
The Thai celebrity posted a video of her and the Korean star on Instagram. In the short clip, Davika was greeting IU with a happy birthday and asking for a friendly kiss. Surprisingly, IU responded and shyly gave Davika a kiss on the cheek.
Davika captioned her post with "Twins 16 May. Love you, IU. Hope you like my birthday gift. Wishing you all the best."

After seeing their short yet sweet interaction, fans have wondered how the "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo" actress, a well-known introvert, kissed a stranger.
Eagle-eyed fans discovered that the two celebrities had already met multiple times at Gucci fashion shows since 2021. Since they became Gucci's brand ambassadors, IU and Davika appear to have become closer as they were seatmates in the brand's previous fashion shows.

Meanwhile, IU just made her big screen comeback through the sports-themed movie "Dream" alongside Park Seo Joon. Currently, the singer-actress is filming her long-awaited drama comeback, "You Have Done Well." She will team up with model-actor Park Bo Gum in this series and the drama is expected to premiere sometime in 2024.
