Lee Seung Gi Reveals Heartfelt Story of His Proposal to Lee Da In
A month after their wedding, Lee Seung Gi recalled how he proposed to Lee Da In.
In February 2023, the singer-actor announced that he and the "Alice" star were set to tie the knot. At the time, the award-winning actor posted a handwritten letter on his Instagram, as he shared the exciting news with fans.
Calling it "the most important decision" of his life, Lee Seung Gi announced that he and Lee Da In were getting married on April 7. In addition, the actor shared that she had accepted the proposal.
Two months later, the celebrity couple had their dreamy wedding, along with family, relatives, and close friends celebrating the special day with them.
More than one month after the wedding, Lee Seung Gi can't help but gush over his wife.
During his guest appearance on TV Chosun and Discovery Channel Korea's "Brother Ramyeon," the "Vagabond" star spoke about his proposal to Lee Da In.
Lee Seung Gi Says His Proposal to Lee Da In Was Not on 'Grand Scale'
According to the actor, it wasn't as over-the-top as others think, but the moment was heartfelt and memorable.
"People think I did something on a grand scale," he tells host Kang Ho Dong, as reported by a media outlet, but Lee Seung Gi explained that it was all done with words.
"We just talked about how we should live our lives after marriage," he said.
Moreover, the "Mouse" star also mentioned how his values and outlook on life were all aligned with Lee Da In.
"There was the wish to live while doing a lot of good deeds. The person I'm marrying was such a good person," he said, adding, "Fortunately, our purpose and values were similar, so I think we will be able to do good deeds together happily."

With Lee Seung Gi's proposal story, Kang Ho Dong was swayed by his emotion and got a bit emotional as the actor told one of his most memorable days.
To recall, "The Law Cafe" star previously told GQ Korea that he was nervous during his proposal to his now-wife.
"She's someone I love so much who's worked very hard by my side. But you have no idea how nervous I was when I was writing my letter," he said, adding that he had a "stronger desire" to make their relationship work and not give up until the end.

Following the wedding, rumors sparked that the newlyweds reside in a luxurious apartment in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, owned by Lee Seung Gi.
In an episode of "Free Doctor" for their segment "Homes of Top Star Couples," the celebrity couple's house boasts 1,200 square meters and a massive parking lot that could fit up to 12 cars.
However, the news was denied by Lee Seung Gi's agency, Human Made, saying that the "information about the home from this broadcast is incorrect."
