The reporter turned YouTuber Lee Jin Ho speculates a surprising reason behind Lee Seung Gi's Instagram post that gained mixed reactions from the public.

Following his wedding with Lee Da In, the "Vagabond" star took to social media as he expressed his thoughts about rumors involving his wife. In a two-part Instagram post, the actor defended Lee Da In and her family against malicious rumors about them.

However, YouTuber Lee Jin Ho claimed that there is a bigger cause behind the actor's decision to post it on his social media with million of following.

As obtained by a media outlet, Lee Jin Ho mentioned on his YouTube channel that he knew "Lee Seung Gi would post something like this through previous articles."

He then explained that the actor has plans to release such a post but "didn't have the intention to publish it after leaving for Singapore with Lee Da In."

The YouTuber then added that "something happened that caused Lee Seung Gi to change his mind."

To recall, Lee Seung Gi and Lee Da In were spotted in Singapore just days after the wedding.

However, his agency, Human Made, previously mentioned that the couple has no plans to go on a honeymoon adding that "Lee Seung Gi is currently overseas for business matters."

Despite the label's claim, photos of the newlyweds at Orchard Road circulated on social media.

On the other hand, Lee Jin Ho said that based on his investigation, it appears like an article written about the couple caused Lee Seung Gi to change his mind; hence, the actor mentioned the reporter's name in his Instagram post.

In addition, the award-winning star might have been "under tremendous psychological pressure in the process of preparing for his marriage." That is because Lee Seung Gi and Lee Da In's relationship has been criticized since they confirmed their romance.

Moreover, the public has a negative opinion of Lee Da In's family.

"At the moment when the actor was feeling extremely depressed, the article written by that report came out and became a trigger that ultimately led Lee Seung Gi to post his article right in Singapore," YouTuber Lee Jin Ho explained.

However, he also thought that it was a "big mistake" for the actor to express such emotions on Instagram.

Moreover, Lee Jin Ho said that Lee Seung Gi "created too many opportunities for people to criticize him," and would probably stop the actor from doing such if they were close acquaintances.
