The final episode of "My Perfect Stranger" begins with Yoon Hae Joon (Kim Dong Wook) and Baek Yoon Young's (Jin Ki Joo) realization that they're stuck in 1987.
They remain calm and reserve back through the tunnel. Meanwhile Yoon Hae Joon's grandfather apologizes to Baek Yoon Young's family for the gruesome tragedy that happened.
Director Yoon (Kim Jong Soo) promises to live a life of atonement for the rest of his life to show his sincerity for what his son had done.
When the duo return to the village, Lee Soon Ae (Seo Ji Hye) hands her newly published book to Baek Yoon Young as they bid their goodbyes to one another.
Meanwhile, Yoon Hae Joon visits his grandfather to make great memories he can carry into the future. The two then head out to fish together.
A Shocking Truth About Yoon Hae Joon
After fishing with his grandfather, Yoon Hae Joon heads back and sees a familiar face in Director Yoon's house. It turns out that it is his son, all grown up while living in the year 1987.
It is revealed that Yoon Hae Joon didn't die on the icy lake like he thought. He recovered and overlooked the hidden future because of this.

Since his son wants him to have another chance in life to make a different choice, he drops him off the time travel car. Because of the shocking revelations, the future has definitely changed.

In the present time, Baek Yoon Young receives a call from her mother. She now lives in a big house that she has always wanted for Lee Soon Ae.
She and her husband are now living happily together much to Baek Yoon Young's delight. Meanwhile, Yoon Hae Joon now has a great relationship with his grandfather.
He's now also back into working as a news anchor. Yoon Hae Hoon and Baek Yoon Young are now a couple, spending time together and holding each other's hands with affection.
It is also revealed that Baek Yoon Young is Yoon Hae Joon's son's mother, tugging at the hearts of the viewers.
The couple decide to go back to 1987 one more time to relish their romance together. Both of them realize that everything happened for a reason, and that they were truly destined to be with each other.
