‘King the Land’ Episode 9: Lee Junho Meets YoonA's Grandmother
As their relationship progresses, Gu Won (Lee Junho) also became closer to the important people in Cheon Sa Rang's (YoonA) life and even treated them as a family in "King the Land" episode 9.
'King the Land' Episode 9: Gu Won & Cheon Sa Rang Start Dating
In "King the Land" episode 9, after their first kiss, Gu Won and Cheon Sa Rang shared a blanket and enjoyed a warm moment under the rain.
Meanwhile, Kang Da Eul (Kim Ga Eun) and her team strived to reach the 30 percent sales mark to win their promised incentive trip.
Fortunately, they achieved their goal. However, it was different from Oh Pyeong Hwa who expectantly looked forward to her promotion after having made the most sales in the team, only to find out that the promotion was given to her junior.
While she missed the promotion at work, things between her and Rowoon (Kim Jae Won) began to progress.
In the King Hotel, Gu Won went to work with a bright aura, which surprised Sang Sik (Ahn Se Ha), and started to get suspicious of his boss.
On the other hand, Gu Won was unable to stop himself from being around Sa Rang and spent some time at King the Land, which caused inconvenience to other employees.
They asked Sa Rang to make the head manager leave, who ended up getting harsh on him and made him sulk.

Meanwhile, Sa Rang secretly helped her colleague, who was dealing with a customer, which made a first step in improving her relationship with those around her.
Gu Won Gets Competitive Against Gu Hwa Ran
While discussing the plan for the upcoming event at the hotel, Hwa Ran (Kim Sun Young) tried to show her authority over Gu Won. He reversed the situation by telling her that if the whole hotel needs to be involved in the event then it should be under his management, which surprised everyone in the room.
Cheon Sa Rang arrived to offer condiments, but Gu Won rejected her presence. She understood what happened so she secretly met Gu Won to improve his mood.
Unfortunately, their meeting ended up in a bad situation as Gu Won was startled and pushed Sa Rang, who tried to back-hug him.
Gu Won Receives Cheon Sa Rang's Grandma's Approval
He was collecting advice from everyone but seemed unsatisfied so he spontaneously went to visit Cheon Sa Rang's grandmother, only to see her collapse as soon as he entered the restaurant.
He rushed her to the hospital and requested her to stay until all the tests were done.
Meanwhile, the old lady asked him about his feelings for Sa Rang. He confessed about their relationship, which angered the old lady and gave him an advice.
Sa Rang then arrived at the hospital and was saddened by her grandma's condition.
Later on, Gu Won and Sa Rang returned to Grandma's restaurant, and the head manager entered with the thought of not leaving until the next day.
They apologized to each other for what had happened at the hotel. While the two were sleeping next to each other, Grandma saw them, and he almost ended up being beaten by the old lady.
Later on, Grandma took Gu Won with her around the market and introduced him as her future grandson-in-law. They went along with Grandma's words and began interviewing Gu Won.
After she discovered that the bachelor has no house, she decided to open a house subscription for him, to help him find a house in the future with Sa Rang.
Before Gu Won and Sa Rang left, Grandma prepared a feast for them.
Gu Won Goes on Trip With Cheon Sa Rang & Friends
Gu Won shared all the things that had happened while he was with grandma, only to be interrupted by her friends, who were ranting about how they were only mistreated at work even after the effort they had done.
After hearing their concerns, Gu Won promised to reward them and passed the task to Sang Sik, who understood that it was a reward for the best employees and considered himself as one of them too.
Cheon Sa Rang, along with her friends, went to the airport and met Gu Won, who was surprised that Sang Sik was there too.
They were ready to spend the next days together for their vacation abroad.
