Gong Myung Update 2023: Here’s What’s Next For The Actor After Military Discharge

Gong Myung Safely Returns From Military
In June 2023, the Hallyu scene welcomed Gong Myung back after he successfully fulfilled his mandatory military duties as an active soldier.
For a year and a half, the sought-after actor disappeared from the limelight to serve his beloved country. Much to fans' delight, Gong Myung is finally back.
Like his supporters, the actor also couldn't hide his excitement. Through a company statement, Gong Myung thanked his fans for patiently waiting for his safe return.
The actor also expressed his affection for the fans by guaranteeing a stronger and improved performance in his future domestic and international works.

On the other hand, Gong Myung last appeared in the 2021 fantasy romance drama "Lovers of the Red Sky" with Kim Yoo Jung, Ahn Hyo Seop and more.
Gong Myung To Make Silver Screen Comeback This 2023
Earlier this year, Gong Myung made his stellar appearance as Kim Bum Woo in the film "Killing Romance" with Lee Honey whom he worked with before in "Extreme Job" in 2019.
The movie was pre-recorded prior to his enlistment. In the work, he transformed into Lee Honey's Hwang Yeo Rae's fan club member who possesses a lot of charms and cuteness.
Apart from that, the actor's huge scale film "Citizen Deok Hee" with Ra Mi Ran, Yeom Hye Ran which centers on the revenge plot of voice phishing victims.
Currently, the film is in its post production process. The team aims to release the work within the year so stay tuned for more updates.
Furthermore, Saram Entertainment, Gong Myung's company, assures the public that they will support the actor's wishes and acting plans in any way they can.
They also promise to provide what Gong Myung needs not only in terms of acting and performing but also his physical, mental and emotional endeavors.
On the other hand, Gong Myung was reportedly cast to headline new drama "Plaza Wars" with So Ji Sub. However, the actor hasn't confirmed his appearance yet so stay tuned.
