Amidst the influx of romance genres, Kim Tae Ri's occult drama "Revenant" steals the show. It has the perfect formula of horror, gore and occult that heightens the intrigue among the public.

The drama, which is also known as "The Cursed: Dead Man's Prey," also stars Sung Dong Il, Uhm Ji Won and Jo Min Su.

'Priest'

Another OCN drama makes it to the list. The 2019 series "Priest" was headlined by seasoned stars Yeon Woo Jin, Jung Yu Mi and Park Yong Woo.

In the series, a dutiful priest and a group of doctors and exorcists team up to protect a Catholic hospital in Seoul from evil entities that look for bodies to possess.

The drama received little acclaim in 2019 due to the rise of romance works in the global scene. Now that the horror genre is once again in trend, thousands of viewers stream the work again.

'The Wailing'

"The Wailing," released in 2016, stars Kwak Do Won, Hwang Jung Min and Chun Woo Hee. It centers on a police officer who looks for his missing daughter.
