‘Not Others’ Episode 2: Jeon Hye Jin, Choi Sooyoung Victimized by Robbery
After scoring a decent rating for the show's pilot episode, "Not Others" Episode 2 saw huge change in viewership.
Headlined by Jeon Hye Jin and Choi Sooyoung, the duo showcases a unique onscreen chemistry as they portray mother and daughter roles.
However, unlike the typical relationship, the story depicts modern-day parenting as Jeon Hye Jin plays as a single mother Kim Eun Mi, who raised her daughter, Kim Jin Hee (Choi Sooyoung), alone.
'Not Others' Episode 2 Rating
In a report, "Not Others" Episode 2 showed a major increase in viewership, according to Nielsen Korea. The K-drama recorded an average nationwide rating of 2.5 percent and 1.7 percent in the metropolitan area.
To recall, the ENA series kicked off with a nationwide rating of 1.3 percent.
On the other hand, viewers get to watch the upcoming episode via ENA, Hulu, and Viki for global fans.
'Not Others' Episode 2 Recap
"Not Others" Episode 2 continued with Kim Eun Mi expressing how disappointed she was with her daughter after she didn't tell her about her job assignment.
But for the daughter, she didn't want her mom to worry and solved it on her own.
With Eun Mi feeling unhappy with Kim Jin Hee's action, she hid all her undergarments. As for the daughter, she had no choice but to borrow her mom's.
However, at the police station, she felt uncomfortable in her clothes. Unfortunately, Chief Eun Jae Won found it awkward that Jin Hee had to adjust her clothing.

On the other hand, during their neighborhood patrol, she and Eun Jae Won received a call that a robbery had taken place at a nearby place.
It turned out to be Jin Hee's mother.
Trying to assist Kim Eun Mi, she interviewed their neighbors to find out any possible clues that would lead them to solving the case. However, she saw her neighbor wearing familiar underwear. She tried to get everyone's attention and ended up at the police station.
Here, they found out that the culprit was targeting Kim Jin Hee and not Kim Eun Mi, which made the single mom more furious at the suspect.
Unfortunately, being a first-time offender, he got a lighter punishment.
Disappointed at the law, Eun Mi did what she thought was best to get rid of the creepy neighbor and framed him for harassment.
On the other hand, Kim Jin Hee found out that the woman in the video was her mom.
To recall, the viral video caused Chief Eun Jae's team to get dissolved while some of his members got demoted or assigned to other areas.
Due to this, he resented Jin Hee after knowing that she was the one who made the complaint regarding the police.
