From rom-coms to melodramas to action and thrillers, Han Hyo Joo never fails to deliver top-notch performances portraying different roles. As for her K-drama comeback, she takes on an interesting character by playing a mother in "Moving."

During her latest shoot with W Korea, where she showcased her captivating goddess-like visuals, the 36-year-old beauty talked about her return to the small screen with a webtoon-based series.

Han Hyo Joo Reveals Special Instructions to Rookie Actor Lee Jung Ha

As mentioned by a media outlet, Han Hyo Joo dished on what it's like to play a challenging character in the upcoming K-drama "Moving."

Playing the role of Lee Mi Hyun, she is a 40-year-old mom-of-three with superhuman senses and the power of five senses. 

According to the actress, playing the mother role is not new to her, since she has already portrayed the smae role in the 2010 K-drama "Dong Yi."  However, this time, she is a mom to a high school senior son.

Han Hyo Joo says she instructed rookie actor Lee Jung Ha, who plays her son, Kim Bong Seok, to "keep calling her mother from now on."

Immersed in her character, Lee Mi Hyun, the actress said that she is looking forward to how viewers see her new role.

Apart from her interesting role, Han Hyo Joo said that what prompted her to accept the offer was the masterpiece created by the writer.

"I was rather attracted to the unique rugged emotion and humanity drawn by writer Kang Full," she said, praising the renowned writer.

Recalling the first time she met Kang Full, the actress said, "The whole time she was reading the scenario, she pictured in her head, 'What if it was made well?"

Besides being a popular webtoon author-artist, Kang Full is also the genius behind hit series such as "Late Blossom" and "The Witch," as well as the movies "I Love You" and "Love Never Ends."

'Moving' Cast and Release Date

Helmed by "Kingdom" season 2 director Park In Je, "Moving" is a superhero action drama that depicts the story of a group of teenagers with special powers, like their parents.

However, some of them hold a painful secret from their past. 

Interestingly, an incident unites them and team up to fight the powerful dark forces that are a threat to humans. 

Joining Hna Hyo Joo as the lead star, Jo In Sung takes on the role of Kim Doo Shik. He works as a veteran agent and, at the same time, has the ability to fly. 

Adding to the list of cast members is Ryu Seung Ryong as Jang Joo Won, who has regenerative powers. This ability allows him to recover easily from injuries.

Moreover, Cha Tae Hyun, Ryu Seung Beom, and Kim Sung Kyun also join as lead stars.

"Moving" will be the newest series, which will be available on Disney+ on August 9.
