According to a media outlet, Jo In Sung organized a special treat for his supporters, showing his deep affection and gratitude to them.

The top star rented a theater at his own expense, where members of his official fan club were invited.

'Smugglers' Tops Korean Box Office

Helmed by Ryu Seung Wan of "Veteran," "Escape from Mogadishu," "The Battleship Island," "Veteran," and "The Berlin File," Jo In Sung played as Kwon Pil Sam, also known as Boss Kwon, a national smuggling kingpin.

Joining him as deep sea divers are Kim Hye Soo and Yum Jung Ah, who took on the roles of Jo Chun Ah and Eom Jin Suk.

"Smugglers" depicts the story of female divers who get intertwined with the smuggling ring.

Besides the trio, Go Min Si, Park Jung Min, and more also joined the lineup, as they portrayed interesting characters.

Interestingly, with less than a week since the movie's debut, "Smugglers" is currently dominating the Korean box office. In a report by the Korean Film Council, the action-crime film took only less than four days to hit the 1 million mark.

With this, "Smugglers" is considered the second-fastest Korean film this year to hit the milestone.
