‘Behind Your Touch’ Stills: Han Ji Min & Lee Min Ki Hints At Comical Chemistry in New Cuts

Han Ji Min & Lee Min Ki the Next Comic Duo to Debut on Primetime

In the provided stills of JTBC for its soon-to-debut K-drama "Behind Your Touch," lead stars Lee Min Ki and Han Ji Min bicker while sharing a meal, heralding their not-so-harmonious tandem. 

"Behind Your Touch" is a comedy investigative series set in the backdrop of Mujin, a crime-free and clean rural village. 

Veterinarian Bong Ye Bun (Han Ji Min) who can see the past of animals and humans with her psychometric power, crossed paths with an elite detective Moon Jang Yeol (Lee Min Ki) and an unexpected turn of events happen between their completely different worlds. 

The duo will embark on a journey to solve minor crime cases among quiet but suspicious villagers. One day, they get entangled in a serial murder case and decide to join forces to find the culprit.

But as they work together, it will not be easy as they have different personalities that might cause chaotic but fun chemistry. 

'Behind Your Touch' Stills: Bong Ye Bun & Moon Jang Yeol Showcase Their Comical Chemistry

In the released photos, Bong Ye Bun appears with short and curly hair and is quickly eating a gukbap (soup with rice), while Moon Jang Yeol continues to talk enthusiastically. Adding to their humorous presence is the scene where they meet in the middle of a dark place and scream while facing each other. 

Before they officially debut as an onscreen couple, the main protagonists shared more of what to anticipate in the drama. 

Han Ji Min revealed that they had a lot of comedy scenes together. She praised her co-star for his flexible acting, which made the actress comfortable working with Lee Min Ki. She added, "He is an actor with a mature broad-mindedness, there are many aspects of him that I wanted to resemble."

The lead star shared that Ye Bun and Jang Yeol's relationship is like Tom and Jerry as they cannot stop bickering. However, they are also partners who are always there for each other. 

Lee Min Ki, on the other hand, expressed that he had great chemistry with Han Ji Min. 

"Personally, I liked Bong Ye Bun and completely fall over Han Ji Min's portrayal of this character. She created a character I've never seen in any other work."

Furthermore, "Behind Your Touch" will premiere beginning August 12 at 10:30 p.m. (KST) on JTBC and Netflix. It will occupy the "King the Land" spots on the weekend primetime.
