The media, BLINKs, and Hallyu fans were surprised after both of their agencies announced the duo's relationship status.
On August 3, Dispatch released photos of the BLACKPINK member along with the "My Name" star after meeting up at Jisoo's residence.
In addition to these receipts, the outlet also claimed that Ahn Bo Hyun and BLACKPINK's Jisoo are dating.
Following Dispatch's report, YG Entertainment, the label that handles the singer-actress, and FN Entertainment, Ahn Bo Hyun's agency, both confirmed the dating rumors.
In a brief response, YG expressed the same stance and said that the new couple are "getting to know each other with positive feelings."
The agencies also asked the public to support and "look upon them with warmth."

Since the announcement, Jisoo has been trending online.
